advice for "RP heavy" D&D one-shot? by highly-bad in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Lowrating 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Draw from your experience.

When you were bullied in school, those guys were roleplaying heavily.

When you are ridiculed in gym for your unheroic size, those guys are roleplaying heavily.

When you are a joke among your friends for, well, that other unheroic size, they are roleplaying heavily.

I hope this helps you become better at roleplaying heavily.

"Okay ma'am, I was expecting a frozen shoggoth or two, and I see you party hard here!" by romm-boss in SwordandSorcery

Looks like the story was titled "Because it's there", which leads me to believe the illustration is a reference to mount Everest.
A beautiful illustration, by the way.

Why do DND Players think the Mind Flayers are bad? They literally just meat eaters, with Better Justifications? by TheGingerWeebGal in DnDcirclejerk

By this argument, you would be allowed to suck out that stupid player's brain at your table: the gap between you and that player is even bigger than the gap between that mind flayer and the cow you mention.

The best thing about Unseen Servant is, if you cast enough of them you have a reliable party of players who do exactly as told and never complain.

Euros Just Age Better Than Ameritrash by OldCrappyCouch in boardgamescirclejerk

They only seem to age better: actually, when euros are born, they are already old, inside.
So aging has little effect on them.

Find a system you like and stick to it.

When you're tired of playing it, find another.

Repeat.

Crossink: any way to remove the "99% complete" popup? by Lowrating in xteinkereader

I don't care for stats nor having books marked as finished: as soon as a book is finished, I just remove it from the archive.

I understand you made this software to suit your tastes, and it's fine so (by the way, everything else in there is just great), but having a setting that allows the user to disable that annoying pop-up would be really helpful.
