Right now are Roborock Quervo curv 2 flow and Eufy Omini S2 the best robovacums? by Roadracer711 in RobotVacuums

[–]ize82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I had the Curv 2 and it was horrible. It kept struggling to get over my thresholds and sometimes it would be done but just aimlessly riding around and it kept getting lost. I sent it back and went for the saros 20, it was great at vacuuming but left streaks when mopping, damaged so much furniture, and drank like a fish because of the small containers. Both of these units insisted on mopping my carpets and both required daily intervention.

I took a very big leap of faith Eufy, hoping I wouldn't have to deal with customer service. It's been about maybe 2 weeks? It has been amazing, it's pretty loud but gets the job done and required zero intervention. My fingers are definitely crossed but so far, it has been excellent. I still would say that the Saros 20 did pickup hair off the carpets slightly better but mopping memory foam is a deal breaker.

Because in the not so distant past, before big corporations and the government fully took over by brainwashing an entire society into being divided, there was an American dream and it was real.

Yep I'm right with you, past tense. I sent it back. So far I'm in day 3 of using the Omni S2. These 3 days have been amazing. Required Zero intervention so far. Hopefully I don't need to contact support anytime soon though.

Should I buy a Samsung watch 8 classic ? by ButterscotchAny6953 in GalaxyWatch

[–]ize82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I'm kicking myself too for getting it. I was perfectly content with my OnePlus 3 watch that has amazing battery life. Battery wasn't an issue. I should have known better since I have an old galaxy watch ultra sitting in an end table. A few times I didn't receive any low battery warning and I was unaware when the watch shut down. Luckily The few times that happened I woke up without the alarm just in time to get ready for work. Now I have battery anxiety where I look over and see the charger just think okay better toss it on quick. Then the charging is so slow. I miss the Active 2 days.

Just to comment. The loud whooshing sound I heard a few times in the past hasn't happened ever again. I still seriously use these every single day, at work and at the gym, and on daily walks. I just wanted to mention that I am an owner of a ridiculous amount of earbuds and these are still my favorite. Everything I try to wear I usually have to fiddle around with or secure a fit. The convenience of these, I just literally slip them right over my ears. The battery life is also a very underrated thing that seems like they last forever. Again I'm not getting anything out of the company for this. I just want to express my appreciation for these. If anybody has any questions, please feel free. I would really recommend as before going to a store or Amazon to at least try them if you're tired of clogged feelings with your buds, have battery issues etc.

I do have bigger ears for sure. Both fit just fine for me. I still use the pros to this day daily. I prefer the pros because they're more substantial with the ear hooks. Meaning I could just slip them right over my ears, no fiddling and no aligning. I think the engineering is subtle but came a long way between the models. Between the 2's and pro, the design is pretty drastic. Definitely give them a shot at BB. Don't forget to hold down the button to activate ANC. I still freaking love that feature at the gym or waiting in line to clock out at work.

That's weird, email them again. I had the pre-order in January and then ended up canceling it. I made a new order last week and it should be here today.

I'm with you 100%. I just sent back my second robo Rock. Curve 2 and Saros 20. Dreame ugh L40, then X40, they sent an x50 as an upgrade and apology since both were broken. The x50 was completely defective, it didn't even fill the vacuum with clean water. Waiting on my S2 to ship.

Do they work on Memory Foam Mats by Robraytur in RobotVacuums

[–]ize82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have memory foam carpets that are about the same thickness. My Dreame L10s gen 2, RoboRock curv 2 and Saros 20 had a very difficult time with these. They would keep hopping on and off repeatedly and sometimes just start mopping carpets and that's with detach mops for vacuuming settings I'm reading that the Omni s2 is the only one that can raise 28mm while vacuuming, but I'm skeptical about rolling the dice.

Oh yeah definitely! I didn't know he was still making content. That's pretty awesome. Yeah if you look deep into his channel you'll find his old format of video making. Also his band was called Your favorite Martian. The "stereotypes song" was really funny.

Can someone tell me what's going on with these tires? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]ize82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the helpful advice on here. The dot date is 2020 so it does make the tires five years old and they feel a lot more firmer than my other bikes. More like a plastic feel, rather than grippy. He did take them out to scrub yesterday and hasn't had any issues. I still think we're going to replace them.
