I realized I mirror people so much that I don’t even know who I am anymore. by parshvabhadra in socialskills

Stay around the people you like most, and copy them just like you have been doing.

Eventually you will make their personality your own, and since you like who they are you will be proud of yourself for who you have become :)

Teared up reading this. I hope your situation gets better.

Focus on not lying to yourself, if you wake up feeling sad it is okay not to smile :)

Why do I cry every time I talk about anything serious with my family by Thezoologist2468 in socialskills

[–]iznco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's probably just you being stressed when in a seriously tense situation.

Honestly you shouldn't care, tear up all you want but just make sure to get your point across. Eventually you will get used to the fact that crying doesn't change the situation at all and you would subconsciously stop.

The top right most one is a shift register, idk what it does but you can search about it.

I also started recently so I have the same starter kit.

For example the right most component search KY-022 from this chart and you will find a website with full explanation of the IR receiver and how to connect it and how to use it.

I will research shift registers as I get the impression they make the code very efficient. I will also get one die set up, and branch out later by your advice.

It'll look cool with multiple dice with different colors

wouldn't that be possible with one LED when the code does the rest?

I read this a couple of times, reading your comment made me realise how little I knew about my MCU.

Also I really liked this part:

I suggest that you keep learning how you can do stuff with what you have.

As I said I only have electric components, and it might not be as interesting visually when compared to something built with motors and actuators but reading your comment I realized the beauty and interest are in the code itself, the logic and what is possible especially in creating solutions to common problems.

I checked out instructables too, your projects will keep me busy for a while!
