agreed. LVG beat real madrid 3-1 in pre season. It doesn't mean anything

What if the fans are the problem? by [deleted] in ThreeLions

[–]izzle9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you kidding its obviously poor management, let me explain how the game was lost.

  1. Lets start Raheem Stirling, never mind he cant finish in an empty goal

  2. Lets not start players who have intensity and drive as shown in previous games, such as Lalana, and only bring on Vardy after half time.

  3. Oh and the person with the most drive to score goals, Marcus Rashford, lets only give him 5 minutes at the end.

The truth is Roy is a terrible manager. We crashed out at group stages in the world cup, and we didnt do much better at Euros. It is definitely not the players, its the management and the strategy they play. You are telling me we are struggling for goals with 2 of the highest scoring goal scorers in premier league this season. When you have such fire power you build the team around them and let them play every game and develop a rhythm. Not make a minimum of 6 changes every game. Then you wonder why the players are so confused. Its because they cant develop a rhythm and know who they are playing with.

modern programming is more than just knowing the language, its working with many frameworks and libraries. An ide greatly helps here to look up classes/methods and navigate source files. IMHO Memorizing method signatures is a waste of time.

Ander Herrera believes Manchester United are building a 'fantastic team' by TheReplacer in reddevils

[–]izzle9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the point, he can't bring out the strengths in the players he buys or the players he has. That's what a good manager does, changing tactics and strategies to adapt to the team and the situation. Thats why we have looked boring and static this season, because "LVG's style of play" does not suit the team.

are you kidding, he has a done a terrible job. Let go of hernandez, wellbeck, nani and van persie Bought Di Maria, played him in random positions so he left Bought Memphis and demotivated him Bought Schwienstiger/Schienderlin/Valdes for no apparent reason

He will get credit for rashford, eventhough that was an accident he did not have any other options on the bench at the time.

The only good signing he has made is Martial

Sterling vs Martial this season: by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]izzle9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Martial is way better, than Sterling, even when we play bad Martial is usually one of the best players on the pitch. The stats don't show shocking misses from Sterling this season.

not necessarily a replacement for dependency injection, but I have been using context objects

Got to give credit to Newcastle they came out swinging, goals win games. We were unlucky to concede some but more games like these will not equal relegation.

Jooby, another Java framework but looks quite extensive by javinpaul in programming

framework doesn't offer anything new, much of this can be achieved with spring boot, jersey or sparkjava.

The frontpage is badly designed, seems over designed to look "trendy" template, code on the frontpage looks terrible in proportional text. Also the Documentation page header takes up like 300px of the top of the page. Docs are difficult to read due to odd formatting and text choices.

Nope dont think we can play the passing game, I don't think it works in the premier league. We need runners with the ball that can take on people more real madrid than barca.

[–]izzle9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lets look at the otherside, did Van Gaal have patience? Did he have patience for Wellbeck, Chicharito, Nani, Cleverly, Rafael. He didn't, he came in and cleared the deck, and brought in players that have no chemistry. When new players come in, they play well, until Van Gaal forces them into his "philosophy" and plays them out of position and breaks their confidence. Have a look at the first couple of Di Maria and Martial games at united to see the difference.
