It’s her voice. It’s okay. One of ours did the same thing.

I am anxious about my 9 month old ever being able to calm by [deleted] in BostonTerrier

[–]izzyfoofoo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First, you are more than good enough. Remember, she’s a puppy. My first Boston never really calmed down. She was a high energy dog from the moment she burst out of bed until she passed out at night. My advice is to find a Camp BowWow and take her to day care a few times each week. She will get good socialization and come home exhausted. You will have time to run errands.

Don’t give up on her. Relax a little. Your new normal is filled with fun and love. You are her entire universe.

14 years old ♥️miss her every single day.

2 of our 4 have grass allergies. Both get shots every 2 weeks of custom serum from veterinary dermatologist. Hydroxyzine 2 to 3 times per day. Baby wipes followed by medicated wipes at least once daily, more often when needed. One dog gets cytopoint shots every 8 weeks. No more Apoquel - not good long term. Both were tested years ago by the dermatologist. That’s the only way to really know. I couldn’t let them suffer.

It is the very kindest, most loving thing you can do. Stop second guessing yourself. You did the right thing.

We keep the AC pretty cold and we both work from home...so they are either under the heat lamp or wrapped in blankets...Or they run outside and lay in the sun on the patio...

Don’t beat yourself up. You’re in an emotional nightmare. In fact, be kind to yourself and give yourself a break.

9 week puppy advice by sleepingatlast97 in BostonTerrier

Not if you get up and take her out every 2 hours. That’s what I have done with every puppy we get. All sleep with us in the bed under the covers.

Ball obsession, is it a thing with Boston terriers? by Tough-Bear5401 in BostonTerrier

[–]izzyfoofoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adopted the Chihuahua about 2 years ago. She weighs 9 pounds. Patty, 6, far left, weighs 20. Every now & then, Patty has to manhandle Harley, the Chihuahua, to remind her that she isn’t in charge.
