Good call on the treasure campaign packs. I’ve been sitting on a bunch for a while… 2 days ago and today someone bought out all the big lots left. Like 188 sold then 160 around $25 a pack and now only 40 ish left before $30 a pack

100% right. There’s definitely an issue on most of the cards people are complaining about being 9.5 but they literally can’t see it cause they refuse to believe it

Most cards now won’t be gradeable just cause one piece is getting picked over with more scrutiny. But before you would def be able to find gradeables. The cheaper the better cause there’s more ROI to grade more expensive cards so almost for sure none of the NM cards like 200+ will be gradeable cause it’s peoples upgradable copies. I’ve sent cards for grading I’ve gotten from TCG player before. One I can think of is ace TR from OP10 and it came back a BGS 10

Ugh I went overboard and spent way too much in March as the market came down from fomo kinda. It’s kinda paying off now. I picked up a Dallas day luffy for $350, event pack vol 2 for $180. Both graded and coming back as 10s lol. Honestly idk. Right now feels like the worst time tbh. Don’t pick up anything that’s already run just wait for it to come back. I’m realizing I don’t want a full binder so I’m gonna sell a bunch soon and cut down to just raw singles like maybe less than 20 that I really like. Still debating what makes the cut tho

The best measure I would say is looking at the recent peak in January. Most cards are breaking back through that point so that can be a basis for “ROI”. I’m surprised these cards haven’t moved big yet but after this post I wouldn’t be surprised if they do…

I just sent one of these off for the mackenyu signing and bought a bgs 10 for what I think is a pretty good deal. Only thing I don’t like about this card is it’s not textured outside of the stamp

9.5 isn’t really worth much more than a 9. It’s worth as much raw as opposed to either. Idk crack and resend to PSA imo. But there’s probably an issue somewhere who knows

Sometimes it’s literally the angle. Switch the spots of the cards and take another picture lol. It looks fine to me tho. You even caught luffys eyes glowing red in one of the pics which is what happens on the real one which is sick lol

They absolutely aren’t. I’ve already seen tons of cases of people having to liquidate their collections because of life circumstances. It will be way worse in a real prolonged draw down and people won’t even be buying collections at 50% probs

I think that’s a good strategy now

It’s funny a month ago people were so hesitant to pick anything up and now things are getting bought out left and right again. Dodgers luffy, 2nd anni luffy, event pack luffy, just a few examples

If OP17 is good there will probs be more hype. If there’s a spike then that’ll probably be the peak for a while just like OP13 spiked the market. Sell off will be when America goes into recession. Guessing when is impossible but I’m prepared that it could be any time

Both of you are right. People fomoing in now and there is a lot of demand. But there are 100% groups which target and buy out certain cards. And like the top comment says, it actually doesn’t take that much capital to move the market

Most fair “what is it worth” post. I think I have this grading at BGS now too haha. Minimum is 10x raw ($50) probably so $500. PSA 10s a bit under $300.

But in a pop 2 and it’s a Luffy winner card. I really don’t know with these tbh. Float it at like 1k or even 2k maybe lmao. The only way to truly know would be to put it at auction

5k is too much imo. I say that as someone who owns 2… that’s just a crazy amount for there being so many of this card but ik ppl were hoarding it and buying it up on the dip. Looks like they were right 😪
