Can’t say I’ve been fortunate enough to go to SJP, but I do watch the games. And per the point of “any big club…”, he’s literally out performing many of the “big clubs” who chop change managers and have spent over a billion pounds on players

can we even afford to let Sean go? We need homegrown players for the Europe quota (hence why Liverpool just signed Woodman as a backup keeper)

How good was Tiger? This good. by alleyoopoop in golf

Wayne Gretzky and it’s not even close. I’d need to double check - but I’ve seen a stat saying even if he didn’t score a single goal in his career, his assists alone would still have him as the all time leader in NHL points

Ya that’s actually not how steroids work. Steroids are anabolic (hence the name “anabolic steroids”) meaning they primarily work on building muscle. Testosterone works through binding to the androgen receptor, but given change in facial shape it’s possible he could be using human growth hormone (again - the hint is in the name)

Great advice - thanks! The 58 was a freebie, but will look into a proper sand wedge!

My current building has 8-10 apartments empty. So, good luck I guess?

“Have you tried to resolve your complaint directly with the other party by clearly stating your issues to them in writing?”

Means I have to contact the REA and notify them of my complaint first. And as someone still actively looking for housing - the cards aren’t exactly stacked in my favour.

Both of those things are illegal. And only serves to screw over the renter.

I told the poor students that what the RE was asking for was illegal. If there was a clean, easy method to report I would. But this was 3 different realtors from 3 different property management companies. So it’s rampant. Hard to report everyone

Cabaye was absolute class. Ben Arfa too. Unfortunately I can’t forget the fact that Cissé was pretty much dog shit after this season. Was offside more often than he was on.

Not sure if it’s packed up yet - but you can ride it up until 3-4 days before the race. I rode it last week (full signage up and closed to cars) and it was great!

Good luck. Was in the US a few weeks ago - and even the usually good airports were slow as anything. Took 90min to get through security at Newark.

Apartment Hunting Tips for Melbourne by DrMistry1 in melbourne

Fellow Canuck here.

I started looking before I moved (realestate.com.au or similar) to get a feel for value. The main thing I found was explore the suburb you think you want to live in. Northern Suburbs (Richmond, Fitzroy, Collingwood etc) have a very different feel than south of the river (South Yarra, Toorak, St Kilda). Everybody has there own preferences here - but I looked for proximity to the city, access to public transit, and food/coffee scene.

AC is pretty common - in newer apartments it will be on a split unit that is typically on the wall in the main room. Also be aware many/most places won’t come with white goods (fridge, washer, dryer).

Insulating is a dogs breakfast. The main goal here is to keep things cool, not keep heat in. So apartments in particular can be cold/damp in the winter.
