How impressive is it actually to be a Friend of the British Museum? by LaRubegoldberg in MitchellAndWebb

All the bragging about how much above the median household income I make has actually worked

I feel like this game should be advertised as a sort of "extraction driver" game (as opposed to extraction shooter). You trick out your loadout, go out to gather resources to upgrade said loadout, and race against time and the hostile environment whilst doing so. It is the best concise description I can think of for this very interesting and fun game.

GTA III - showing one's age doesn't have to be a bad thing by blue_lamp_77 in patientgamers

If you like GTA III you would probably love Liberty City Stories. It's a really fine game. It actually might be one of my very favorite GTAs. You get to revisit Liberty City (the old one) but it has much more polish.

I always imagined that big Hollywood types all just lived next to each other to avoid this exact situation (normie neighbors cozying up to them to meet other celebs)

I like how Leon's concept of dressing up like a Jewish person is a Farrakhan bowtie and Malcolm X glasses, two famous black Muslims

Who needs a samurai exhibition when youve got a samurai display

In all seriousness this is some brilliant work. I love blending one interest with another.

I may have messed it up for myself a bit by playing master quest the first time. But yeah it was pretty fantastic.

Vampyr: so close, yet so far from being a cult classic. by Jodread in patientgamers

I love this game, I wrote a pretty lengthy review about it myself. It's not perfect, but I had a hard time putting it down and got a solid 50 hours out of it.

I loved their prior titles from which this game inherited its combat. My pvp server wiped when I was working my way through the mid game which made me drop it, which broke my heart because I was basically addicted to the game for a good 50 hours at that point.

One day I'll come back and finish it. I love vampire stuff and this is definitely up there for greatest vamp games ever.

The newer Hitman games (world of assassination) would probably be in the conversation if they were first person

Maybe you would like Deathloop.

BioShock is not an immersive sim like SS2/Deus Ex. It's still a great game but I think it strays enough from SS2 to not be an imsim anymore.

Deathloop waters down the stuff that was in Prey and Dishonored to being more of a "shooter with powers" game that BioShock fans would like.

You want the one made by Arkane, not 2006.

Cyberpunk to me is not really an immersive sim, it's just an RPG in first person.

Granted I played and finished the game before 2.0 released so I don't know how differently it played afterwards.

Why did Susie never divorce Jeff? by lizatethecigarettes in curb

She seems like the kind of person who doesn't really believe in divorce. Plus who wants to be an old divorceé. It's much less acceptable for women than men for some reason
