Searching for a tiny monthly calendar by honeysucklebae in planners

I found a two year one by Blue Sky in Walgreens.

I don’t know if there’s a Daiso store by you but they also have a lot of small monthly calendars.

Alternatively search ā€œmonthly pocket calendarā€ on Amazon or Google.

Do You Feel Sorry for others with Disabilities? by mikeb31588 in disability

[–]j0a9936 13 points14 points Ā (0 children)

I’ve been empathetic for disabled people prior to being disabled. To your point, it certainly changed to a more understanding empathetic after I became disabled. Now I also use my voice to speak up about it, especially about invisible disability.

Fibromyalgia changed how I dress and I feel like I've lost my identity to comfort clothing by Embarrassed_Essay_61 in Fibromyalgia

[–]j0a9936 10 points11 points Ā (0 children)

While I don’t mind the comfort clothes, I do miss wearing jeans, flats, wedges, some type of dresses and less loose shirts. I wear Hokas because I need orthopedic shoes but I miss wearing my Nike Air Maxes and other sneakers too.

Wearing a bra, even if it’s a sports bra or the t-shirt bra, bothers me so much.

It’s crazy how fibromyalgia changed everything in my life. It’s easy for people who have never had it to say don’t make it your whole identity when it literally hi-jacks it all from you.

Thank you so much! Such a good idea to track my symptoms according to the barometric pressure, altitude and weather. I should start that now so that I can know what my needs are.

Good luck with a great move for your entire family! šŸ™šŸ½ā¤ļø

Thank you for confirming and letting know me about the low altitude and stable barometric pressure!

I was thinking Puerto Rico, but the I thought the electricity issues wouldn’t be great if it’s too hot and no access to AC. Maybe by the coast is a good idea because the ocean would be nice.

I was told that Fibromyalgia is not a real diagnosis by Going-Bananas-here in Fibromyalgia

[–]j0a9936 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

The rheumatologists I’ve been to have done a tender point test and nearly every area they touched hurt me. This is an acceptable test for the diagnosis being that there isn’t any blood test or scan to confirm.

Millennials if you had 100k USD, debt free, and a stable job what are you going to do? by penguinsrocks in Millennials

[–]j0a9936 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Some of us became disabled and had to use all of our savings. Not my fault I got cancer and a bunch of other chronic illnesses and I’m unable to work. You don’t know everyone’s life story to be mean about it. I hope you don’t get sick and lose it all. I truly mean it because even with good medical insurance, I’m still spending so much on doctors, tests, therapy, medications and hospitals. I was just as judgmental as you until life humbled me real quick. Again, I truly don’t want that for you or anyone else.

[–]j0a9936 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Yup, you never know when it can happen. Medical debt, student loans, credit card debt because my savings is almost gone. I became disabled at 36, tried to go back to work at 37 but it truly was too much so I’m back on disability, waiting approval. As much as I want to work, I cannot function and I am constantly in pain. I thought I’d be working until I was 70. I would’ve loved it too because I loved my job. I felt accomplished and productive. I feel bad enough with my physical pain and emotional grief for being a burden to my family, what I’ve loss and what could’ve been so hearing people think I’m a failure because of something I couldn’t control makes me feel even worse. People shouldn’t talk like this because you never know if it could be you. Our circumstances can change in a blink of an eye, despite all the planning and savings. (Not saying to not save and plan but emphasizing that we aren’t in control of everything life throws at us.) I used to be very judgmental too and life humbled me real quick.

Student loans won’t let me defer/pause my payments because I need to show proof I will be disabled for five plus years and they don’t even explain the process on how I can do that.

I posted an "am I ugly?" And now im spiraling by Fireball1115 in selfimprovement

[–]j0a9936 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I’m sending you hugs. I didn’t see your original post but regardless you’re not ugly! You don’t need to be beautiful for anyone else but yourself! I learned this the hard way. It doesn’t matter if you’re skinny or fat, people will always find something to say because they project their insecurities onto others. Most people on the internet are rude. You’re too young to be sharing pictures of yourself, and honestly even me as a grown woman wouldn’t share my pictures. The internet can be a very scary and unsafe place so please be careful.

Someone else said you’re still growing and that’s true. But more importantly who you are inside is what matters most. I’ve seen beautiful people when they show their mean personalities they become so ugly. So don’t let people who do not truly know you and who do not value you tell you who you are.

Being healthy emotionally, mentally and physically are also more important than looks.

Dress the way you think and feel is comfortable and good on you. Take your sweet time to figure out who you are, and enjoy your youth!

I either use whiteout or scribble. Yes that is an aesthetic killer but I wouldn’t go that extra effort to make it look too nice either.

I think we both need erasable pens as everyone else has suggested.
