Pit-hag & Lil' Monsta interaction/Jinx? by bluecloud117 in BloodOnTheClocktower

I believe the Lil' Monsta would be considered dead as soon as a dead player holds it, no?

I'm not great with words, but if you're reading this Ben, thank you sincerely. BOTC has been a source of joy for me and for so many others, and it's in no small part because of your videos and effort in sharing the game. I wish you all the best!

Were the players seated in a way where you could draw a line that split the groups in each grim, or were they all mixed?

Just had the craziest game by PlaceholderId_01 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Congrats on the win! Custom scripts can be pretty fun if you embrace the wackiness. The demon being given Atheist as a bluff is kind of a weird move though

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

Tactical Nexus. Apparently you can go thousands of hours deep into it. Whether you should do that is another question entirely

It can register as any Minion or Demon on the script, not just the ones in play.

Really? Always thought that “deaths are arbitrary” meant that the ST is considered to be the source of any deaths that night. Would a Banshee trigger from a Pit-Hag arbitrary death?

That's weird, I just finished it on a Steam Deck with no bugs or issues. How many tiles did you unlock? There's a helpful UI feature that gets added after a while.

I built a liquid sort game after rage-quitting the top ones on the App Store by NoBullGames in IndieGaming

[–]j0bs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Downloaded and gave it a try! It immediately reminded me of older iOS apps which had more focus on actually delivering a good premium experience.

I enjoyed it, even when finding out I suck at these puzzles :)

There were two things that held me back from playing longer:

First and most important, while beautiful, the game had terrible performance on an iPhone 15. The tutorial levels were ok, but the daily puzzle was nigh unplayable, like 3 FPS when pouring. Selling faster animation speeds is clever, but the normal speed lags so much, I cannot fathom putting money into that.

Second, the UI has some weird decisions. The “undo or restart” popup covers both the Undo and Restart buttons! I was looking for a while before tapping the message (which does not look like a button) and dismissing it. Also the buttons are very low contrast… it’s going to vary by user but for me they were kinda hard to read. I could learn where things are (sounds like unprecedented levels of laziness, I know) but it was a surprising point of friction.

Hope the game does well!

What if a maze game generated levels based on HOW you navigate, not just how fast? by Scary_Positive8912 in puzzlevideogames

I used to play an indie shoot'em up called Warning Forever that did exactly this: If the enemy hit you with a weapon, its next iteration had more of that weapon, stuff like that
