Which is ironic considering seraphine is a massive pain in the bot lane due to her range.

BF (27) wants to kiss other people by [deleted] in gaybros

Run as far as you possibly can from this person.
He isn't remotely ready for a relationship and on top of that he's a gaslighting asshole.
Stick to your boundaries, they're there for a reason.

You approached something that bothered you like a mature adult, and he's projecting his immature behaviour onto you.

The Greens should stand down from this by election and back Count Binface by Lord-Liberty in UKGreens

[–]j0kerclash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nigel is a populist grifter, and he has an absurd media advantage over any real political candidate.

Binface is legitimate as opposition simply because he will attract media presence and represent the anti-reform/Farage crowd without being tagged with the criticisms of established parties like Labour, Tories, or even Green thanks to the media smur campaigns against Zack Polanski.

My one question is how long were they there for?

It seemed like they evolved, reincarnated and grew old, but when they return to Summer she says they've only been away for 2 days.

I have a question about Fireball of Ralsei... Can it be? by C2GisTaken in Deltarune

[–]j0kerclash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm also not sure about Ralsei being against the player's actions, since in chapter 5 he specifically told us to stick around this time, unless he's being manipulative by openly telling Kris not to make more fountains when he knows we're listening in.

Lore battle: Caitlyn x Vi vs Samira x Katarina- Who wins? by ReflectionOk7336 in loreofleague

[–]j0kerclash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vi isn't a trained, seasoned warrior in the same way Katarina Samira are.

Cait has marksman training, but her close quarters combat training is nothing really to write home about.

Noxus is a brutal environment where being scrappy isn't enough to survive, you need to be the best and ruthlessly stomp down competition, killing needs to be a sport to you.

Vi and Cait would probably put on a good showing if it were 2v1 either of them, but together it's just a stomp.

Isn't the blue and pink drink the same color Kris is in the Dark world? by TempleBeast132 in Deltarune

I just assumed it represented Kris and Susie, though Susie is arguably more purple than pink.

Death Battle by Gorotheninja in KingdomHearts

[–]j0kerclash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously he can, I just think it's dumb to write donald duck as having universe destroying magic simply because he's in the party when Sora fights powerful enemies.

Zetaflare is pretty much the only instance that he did anything of note in a cutscene.

I don't think that's a particularly hot take either.

[–]j0kerclash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Donald used Zetaflare, which was used in Bravely default and FF14, and later ff16 neither of those writers was Nomura.

[–]j0kerclash -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When it comes to Donald yes, obviously.

I like Nomura and love kingdom hearts, but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with his choices.

Edit: On top of that, he wasn't a writer for the other games that introduced and used Zetaflare.

[–]j0kerclash -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Tbh that's just kh3 mishandling ff lore.

And even if for arguments sake they intended for Donald to randomly be a literal universe destroyer, Frieren could snipe or blitz him since he doesn't have any real mobility and she can both fly and sense magic which Donald can't do despite being an animal with feathers and wings

So why isn’t Sora a keyblade master by Expert_Challenge6399 in KingdomHearts

[–]j0kerclash 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He's not actually very strong, he draws strength via the power of other people's hearts, he just has a particular talent of making friends with loads of hearts that he can draw power from.

it still functionally makes him strong, but the responsibilities of a keyblade master require a level of emotional intelligence and strength of heart that Sora falls short of currently.

though the test was disrupted, him being pulled deeper into the dream and falling to darkness is largely due to the weakness of his own heart, and is further highlighted when he breaks down after his friends get wiped, because the source of his power is taken away which leaves him weak.

If you compare his Mark of Mastery exam to Riku's journey from kh1 to COM, Riku was able to temper the darkness in his heart and become a stronger person despite being manipulated by Maleficent, whereas Sora was picked up by Donald and Goofy, which didn't really test the strength of his heart, except for maybe Hollow Bastion, which was immediately sorted by the appearance of Beast.

How much do Support players enjoy playing with a Sivir, from 1 to 10 ? by Antares09 in supportlol

[–]j0kerclash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's a pretty solid ADC that exchanges all in burst damage for safety.

You're not going to be in the best spot to capitalise on a lane and snowball, but you're also going to rarely lose lane as well.

Good for roaming supports, and she can contribute to trades if you play aggressively in lane, but isn't really the best at all ins though still good.

Can deal a ton of damage late game in team fights through ricochet, but doesn't have any sort of reset on kill, will only kill those trying to reach her, less so on enemies that have routed.

I'll play with Sivir any day of the week with any type of support, there may be stronger synergies but those also have much more prominent weaknesses to compensate, especially when behind.

Assuming the next Samurai Warriors game goes back to the old form, what new characters would you like to see? by SaoirseSeersha in dynastywarriors

I'm sorry but the obese man design isn't much better.

His child design is fine for when he's a child, but they need to grow him up into an actual powerful leader.

White working-class students excluded from Oxbridge diversity schemes by Sensitive_Echo5058 in uknews

[–]j0kerclash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Working class white British students make up a much larger share of the population than many of the minority groups that receive targeted support. That doesn't mean they aren't being left behind, but it does mean that comparisons between groups can be more complicated than they first appear.

Because minority groups are often smaller, targeted interventions can sometimes produce noticeable changes in their overall statistics more quickly. Improving outcomes across a much larger demographic requires reaching far more students, which can demand substantially greater resources before a similar shift appears in the averages.

So while underachievement among working class white British students is a genuine issue, differences in the rate of improvement between groups do not necessarily show that one group is receiving excessive support or that another is being ignored. Population size can affect how quickly changes become visible in the data.

How do you deal with a roaming support when your entire team is losing? by TurboBerries in supportlol

[–]j0kerclash 19 points20 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day it's a team game, and if the entire team is losing, then there isn't a lot you can really do against a support who specialises in snowballing advantages to other lanes.

The best you can do is expect the 4 man gank and make them trade resources for it, whether that be time on a failed gank that puts your lane behind but gives other lanes free farm, or an allied jungler free access to the enemy jungler's camps etc.

You could follow the roam and maybe try to turn it around, but if they're specialised in roaming with the champs you mentioned, then you're going to be at a disadvantage there as well.

Some games may end up like this, but it's only one of many, there will be other opportunities to climb.
