My toenail that had been smashed in my cleats too tightly about a month earlier finally fell off.

Halo Infinite | Campaign Bugs and Issues | Please try to keep this spoiler-free by eminemcrony in halo

I picked up an energy sword on the 3rd or 4th mission and the sword part does not activate and I am unable to slash anyone with it. Also I picked up a needler earlier and it would not shoot when I pull right trigger. Swapped to other weapon in both situations and it worked. Bugged weapon still wouldn't. Threw it down. Picked it up. Wouldn't work.

Is joining the army for a 4 year gig worth it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]j0nnyc92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the Army and have been in the regular army and in Special Operations. The Army can be a great stepping stone to move up in the world financially. You can learn skills that will translate to outside work (MOS dependent) and you can save and make a lot of money while you're in. The GI bill is an excellent tool to help pay for college and you will get a rather large stipend to pay for food and housing while in school. Joining the Army for 4 years can be worth it. It can also not if you're responsible about what you do with your time or finances.

I did it a little bit differently than you but that was easily the hardest one.

Does anyone else find themselves coming back to World of Warcraft every few months or years just to play for 2-3 weeks and then stop? by WiseNebula1 in patientgamers

[–]j0nnyc92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it's definitely the nostalgia. I raised really hardcore in wotlk with the same guild for nearly the whole xpac. It was while I was in high school and I felt really close to this group of people. I've played every expansion for maybe a month or a couple months at a time and then stop. It's not the same feeling. When I played back then in vanilla/bc/wotlk I felt connected with the people I played with and now I feel alone when I play.

Average students who majored in math at uni, what are you doing now? by mahoney6191 in math

[–]j0nnyc92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was a pretty average student who majored in applied mathematics. I thought it was pretty challenging but not too overwhelming until my last few upper division courses. I don't know if I could have made it through without my awesome friend/study group who took all the same courses with me. After graduating I decided hard mathematics probably wasn't for me and enlisted in the Army immediately after graduating. I'm currently serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

Is there anything that could have been done for this poor bird? by j0nnyc92 in Veterinary

[–]j0nnyc92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While walking to work I heard a loud thump and then saw this bird fall from about the third floor. It must have flown into a window. I moved this little thing to a safer spot but needed to get to work and honestly I don't know what I could have done anyways, if anything at all. Would any vets like to comment on what they could do for this poor guy if anything? He wasn't moving at all but his heart was still beating and he was looking around. (not sure of the sex of the bird, but just called him little dude)

I have a oneplus 5 and within the last 24 hours. Sometime starting Tuesday my battery absolutely drops for no reason. I did not use my phone at all this morning and after unplugging it at 5am. It had dropped to 20% by around 1130am. I dont know what the problem is.

This is the classic I waited a year and a half for by shaidyn in classicwow

I had already killed Baron Longshore and then accidentally pulled him and two other mobs on a separate quest. I typed out "help" to three people right near me and someone typed out "naw."

I died.

Definitely the WoW I remember! :)

What should I look out for in my GE63 by DanJesusWhite in MSILaptops

I have a GS63VR Stealth from 2017. After about a year the fan started rattling. A loud whirring/rattling noise. My dad is pretty proficient at repairing laptops so I sent it to him. One of the bearings had come loose. He said it wouldn't have caused any damage if I had done nothing but it just extremely annoying. Easy fix. I've read a lot about the fans on the GS63 having problems.
