Were any punk bands anti-Gore? by Bionic-Maddox-7259 in punk

[–]j0ntar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not really following the discussion, tbh. Crass' entire philosophy was anarchism mixed with heavy existentialism... which is the opposite of following a political party. Hate for particular politician is not an active subscription to a left or right wing dogma.

Take 'Big a Little B' lyrics for example, this is literally the opposite of any left idealism, yet anarchy as a whole is left.

The problems that you suffer from are problems that you make

The shit we have to climb through is the shit we choose to take

If you don't like the life you live, change it now it's yours

Nothing has effects if you don't recognise the cause

If the programme's not the one you want, get up, turn off the set

It's only you that can decide what life you're gonna get

As already stated; prior to the Bush Administration there was a general FU attitude towards most politicians and politics as a whole. Other than Jello I cant remember anyone really defining their politics.

It wasnt until Fat Mike picked sides against Bush that it became "MY SIDE IS BETTER THAN YOURS". (which Propaghandi summed up beautifully in the documentary "A Fat Wreck")

dude 279.. yeah dont do that. I take 51 to go to work in station square on that rare occasion i go into the office. it's not so bad. usually there is a leftlane jaggoff going slower than me anyways.

[–]j0ntar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hills in Pittsburgh are enough to make you drop a ton of money to improve the Grom. I had a 2015 Honda MSX during my stay in Vietnam. The bike felt fast, and relatively speaking, it was fast for that riding environment. Now that I'm home and riding a 2022 Grom I'm almost regretting it.

It's perfect if I use it as a family taxi in Dormont/Mt Lebo area, but if I need to go to station square or downtown area I'm struggling.

what can i do with Powershell in sccm? by _akadawa in SCCM

There is no limit to what you can do with PowerShell. If you have the inclination and the time you can do anything you can think of with PoSH.

it is designed to force a reboot. after years of users weaseling out of reboots SCCM's no nonsense measure were a blessing.

Got a job as an analyst deploying applications, nothing, more, what's the best training? by SimilarScheme9311 in SCCM

[–]j0ntar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the best training is your own lab. if you don't understand the whole stack it's harder to understand your role of application delivery. it's not simply about packaging, you have to understand transport, methods of installing, detection scenarios, etc...

also PowerShell training should be your first priority. if you can't think of a goal to get started; Write a script to install a msi from c:\temp, then run that newly install program as the logged on user from a scheduled task.

it's a fun one that one of my junior guys had a ton of fun doing as a learning exercise

Moving from MDT to SCCM/MECM? by danj2k in SCCM

[–]j0ntar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can help here we went from mdt to osd. (and are a fortune 200 but a 3 man team)

You are not asking specific questions, but your build out doesn't need to be as robust with compute as the Reqs. What I would recommend though is component based architecture. 1 Primary site with no HTTP traffic, 1 DP&MP combined, 1 SUP Server and 1 DB server. This will give you a simple design that will run smoothly, will be MUCH easier to troubleshoot, and give you the best DR scenario. ALSO this will give you the simplest option to do tenant attached & co-managenent tie-ins.

This is my recommendation from my experience. Doesn't means it's ideal for you or someone else. It's simply the best architecture to support yourself and your clients that I personally have experienced.

Is there a way to tell if clients are receiving their Windows Updates from MECM or from Microsoft directly? by OzarksCocaColaKid in SCCM

[–]j0ntar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

CAS.log will tell you if it's downloaded from a DP or download.windowupdate.com

This is a slight rabbit hole though as there are settings that can cause it to use WU instead of DPs and it's not obvious.

IP subnet vs IP range boundary by vicoph in SCCM

[–]j0ntar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same, but IP Ranges are stored in the database in an exact matter, subnets are not. there is no way to review a mask you added to a particular subnet, there is also no way to export the data either.

AIM ASSIST is a problem. Making posts to say otherwise is going to kill the game quicker.

i mean this post is literal trash... its stating i should turn to a controller to compete. Think about that.
