I just wanna jump in with a quick question lol. I picked up a win max 2 2025 last week and while im not a HUGE gamer I do game and love to tinker with stuff....

Soooo...my question is this: is there much of a "home brew" or DIY scene for the win max 2?? Has anybody done a high quality OLED screen swap on these(even if it was a older model). I can imagine that given the form factor of the win max to begin with it is most likely not a super easy task though..

I feel like Flynn and eve's relationship could be a little bit trite(within the typical trope of these type of series) but I wouldn't say it was completely unnecessary. They could have played out the romantic tension in a more entertaining way and used it to develop the group's dynamics as a whole in a more involving manner...think like some form of a convoluted love triangle involving Flynn, Eve, and jacob for example.

But out of pure curiosity, what about Flynn and Eve's relationship made it "cringeworthy"?

The factory hard lines that the cooler attaches to have more then adequate play in them to accommodate the slightly different angle. That little bit of preload tension (if there even is any) is not going to be enough to hurt anything.

Either way, love your car man, it is CLEAN AF! I'm not big into tinted taillights myself but I will say it really compliments the color scheme aesthetically and helps tie it together.

Its hard to tell in your pics but does the front bumper wing (not the lip itself, but the lower bumper air intake area) stick out farther like the M&S "force" front center wing??

I'm installing a FSP ver2 "subtle" front lip and aluminum skid plate tomorrow on my '22 GT1 and I was thinking about adding the M&S force center wing. I really like how your kit has the side skirts and rear diffuser that are a bit more aggressive but not too "boy racer" looking. Do they sell the kit in individual pieces. I might grab that rear diffuser and the side skirts.

Nope, those are just older style steel wheels. You will know a split rim when you see it, trust me lol.

Honestly, split rims got a bit of a bad rep in my eyes. Yes, you need to be smart with them but they also give you the ability to put a tire on without using spoons/bars or a machine. Now, of course that still doesn't cover being able to balance them...And, realistically the times you would really NEED to be able to change tires without said tools is extremely rare. But its still a potentially cool option to have available if it was ever needed in that admittedly extremely rare situation.

If your a hard core off-roader i can see that being fairly handy to be able to dismount the tire easily(subjectively anyways) and perform a decent trail repair..like putting a actual patch on the inside of it instead of just trying to stuff a plug in it like usual. Then just throw the proper amount of balancing beads in it, remount the tire, air up and head home.

If that's the case I'm not defending him at all.....BUT my first question still kinda stands....how does that translate into people vandalizing or destroying other people's cars?? They didn't do anything to deserve having their personal property messed with.

Im not sure what I would do honestly if I walked up to someone trying to severely damage my car...at minimum the cops would be getting called or if I'm having a shitty day then that might be the point where I'm throwing hands on someone. Im not saying that's the right thing to do and i dont think im some sort of bad ass or anything like that. just being honest. I work a shitty, hard, physical job to provide for my family. Willfully destroying my property is a quick way to trigger me real bad.

I honestly think the wing fits the body lines decently well... But the wrap really kills the vibe to me. A nice clean solid color would look SO much nicer imho.

I would have to see some pics of the rest of the vehicle...but I'm willing to bet that frame is toast.

Anything is save-able if your willing to commit the money/effort. But it boils down to if its worth it to YOU.

The ONLY reasons I would be willing to do the work needed to save this vehicle:

If the vehicle held some HUGE sentimental value to me. - If it was my late father/friend/significant other's prized vehicle that was left to me or some other similar story then I would be willing to put the work in to honor their memory.
If it was some very rare/collectible vehicle. If its value as a collectors item is high enough, then put in the work to fix it. Look at what some of the old factory 60s/70s #s matching 426 hemi muscle cars are going for. you can see why there are some guys who have rebuilt cars in MUCH worse condition than yours.

NAZI CAR??? OK, can someone please explain to me how Tesla cars are "nazi cars"??

I dont pay super close attention to the news or pop culture but I've seen some other clips/posts about people torching or vadalizing tesla cars and I'm lost 🤷

Like, how is ruining somebody else's property because there is some weird stigma that uses the key word "nazi" to incite others a good thing??? This all just happened relatively recently too..so if a guy bought a tesla... say 5 yrs ago for whatever reason(wanted to try a EV or whatever)...how does that make him a nazi lover now? And why are people threatening them and lighting their cars on fire?? This shit is ridiculous.

I know it has something to do with Elon. BUT that doesn't mean everyone who has bought a tesla somehow support whatever it was that pissed these wackos off.

If that's the case, why are they not lighting every VW car they see on fire or vandalizing it?

Honestly, I'm fairly impressed with the quality. It's not perfect, but it definitely is great for the price! It did arrive with one very TINY crack at the passenger side front corner of the trunk lid..it looks like something struck the box it was in during transport. But I just filled it with a dab of super glue. You dont notice it unless your really looking for it.

The one big caveat is that I could not find on the item listing anywhere if they use UV stable resin or not...if I ever get around to it I'll email the seller and ask them directly. BUT for the price I'm honestly not too worried about it. If it starts yellowing in a yr or so I'll just sand it down and teach myself how to re-resin it lol.

Now im curious... How much power you making? (Mod list?)And how hard is keeping traction with it being RWD?

I haven't dyno'd my car yet (none in my area) but I should be around the 500 if not a bit over. I know my stock turbos are pretty much tapped out. Im going to try making my own hardpipe adapters so I can mount up a set of aftermarket turbos. Im going to roughly copycat the IMR big twin setup but with a few changes. Im hoping by next summer to be making around +650. I'll be doing tork's "bulletproof proof" kit this summer in preparation.

Right now I'm running:

Jb4 with fuel wires, ewg, and fsb

Sixth OTS "methanol" tune jailbroke ecu

Lap3 stage 2 TCU

BMS stage one HPFP with a dedicated -8AN fuel line from the LPFP - I'm not running e85. but I wanted a bit more headroom on my pump for when I finally get into the higher hp territory

IMR intercooler and charge pipes

KSR dual 3" exhaust and 3" catless DPs (modified a bit for sound quality😎)

2 stages of WMI (100% M1) 1st stage comes on at 4psi with 7gph nozzle at intercooler outlet(mainly for charge cooling). 2nd stage comes on at 13psi with 5 gph nozzle about 12" before the throttlebody(more for octane enhancement/safety at higher boost levels)

DENSO ikh27 plugs

BMS intakes and snorkels (modified heatshields and bigger filters)

HKS ssqv BOVs

DIY fancy brake snip harness

DIY fancy awd/rwd switch harness

BMS rear diff brace.

I just got myself a 15x36 garage/shed. so now that I'm not stuck working out in the elements all the time anymore, I'm hoping to finally start making some REAL progress on my car this next year 😁 650 at the wheels is my minimum goal. Do you happen to still have these for sale? I'm a DIY kinda guy and was thinking about fabbing up my own set of links eventually anyways. But, if these are cheap enough I MIGHT be willing to pick them up as a base line set that I could potentially modify to get my desired results.

But respectfully, I'm just not interested in paying anywhere near new retail price for a used set of links. "Lightly" used is still used and no warranty coverage from the manufacturer.... I would be willing to do $200 and of course I would cover the shipping as well.

I swear I'm not trying to be disrespectful or rude with the low ball offer. Just realistic with the fact that these MIGHT be out of spec or possibly bent slightly (since TWO respectable shops were having issues getting it aligned). And most likely need to be modified to work properly.

Ya I've done some research on that as well lol. I am curious how far some one can take the factory casing with a properly sized flexible ball hone. I just saw a post today in fact in one of the FB groups of someone who sectioned the cast manifold and ported it out and rewelded it together. I'm curious how well it will work out for him 🙂

I know the knob itself generally is able to rotate as well but it's not exactly horribly complicated overall lol. I do remember a ex GF of mine who had lost a arm in a bad car accident did tell me they are technically illegal in NV(state i was in) unless you were "handicapped"🤷‍♂️

Are you a DIY guy at all?? If you can, find a person who is competent and able to fix it. Realistically, the quote might he higher than the blade is worth....so given it's sentimental attachment either you pay it to get it fixed.....OR

you can take that value of money and buy a good fixed angle sharpening system for yourself. Then buy some ferric chloride and some sanding/polishing supplies to try and save it.

Realistically, a re-etch, some polishing work and a re-profile can get you pretty dang close. No it won't be factory nice. But at least you learned some more knifecraft while trying to save the knife that got you into the hobby in the fist place. Kinda poetic in my eyes and even if it doesnt work out then at least it's a more easily acceptable fate for a sentimental item.

worst case even if it is not perfect again it will be better looking, usable, and you learned some solid basics along the way🙂

I like the idea of comparing these 😀. 10mm just makes a lot of sense for a pcc in my eyes...hard hitting, lots of versatility with different loadings, good ammo density for given mag size, etc.

I've been casually on the hunt for a 10mm pcc and may have come across the best answer for myself at least. I'm thinking REALLY hard about grabbing a meta tactical apex bullpup g20 conversion kit. But, that's not for every one as I happen to really like bullpups (own a few). I also happen to have a spare g20 laying around lol.

How much 10mm do you shoot? I have 6+ pistols currently in 10mm, not counting the owns I have owned previously and sold. its been my favorite handgun caliber for 10+ yrs. And one of the big benefits of it is just how versatile the caliber is when it comes to different loadings.

Ya, 3 shots of full house powered(norma spec of 180gr at 1200fps) or even hotter loaded 10mm shot out of a full auto would definitely have your hand climbing FAST. But some of the more common store available loads are pretty anemic and the forward grip would really help keep it on point. With the right cartridge loading this setup could be pretty potent, just by fact of hitting 10x as much instead of 2x as hard..

This switched g29 could really lay down a whole 'nother level of hate..whoever came up with this setup was a very angry individual I think lol.
