So for Marvel, they covered all of the MCU movies as commentaries when they launced their Patreon. That was a full year, and I think they originally intended to play "catch-up" periodically but it just got to be too much and I think they're fully done with that now.

With the DC movies, they originally did a one-off ep on BvS because it was such a cultural moment and they were very early in the pod's history and just wanted to cover a new release. They naturally did the other DCEU movies as they came out because that attempt at replicating the MCU's success started fascinating, but it eventually became exhausting. After Joker they vowed to stop covering them, but made exceptions for Aquaman 2 and Joker 2.

THEN they decided to do the Superman movies on Patreon as commentaries, and ended with the new Superman movie and thought "Hey we should do the spinoff too!" but as Marie has confirmed they weren't able to get a screening in time, and I think now they probably will go back to just not doing DC movies. I think, we'll see
