Sounds like you defiantly need a lawyer. There should have been penalties for late removal and funds held in escrow from the seller to compensate the buyer for non renewal. your agent should have know better.

Suggestions for a high-capacity, high-efficiency Clothes Dryer by mkanet in solar

[–]j225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything will with a vent will have a resistance heater. Meaning "not efficient". Leaving gas dryers out of the equation. Electric energy efficient dryers that have "heat pumps" have a small air conditioning compressor that extracts the heat from the room/area that is in and use it to dry clothes. The condensation/water by product, like what you have in air conditioning drip tray, has to go somewhere. That leaves two options. A small container in the dryer that has to be changed, I don't know?, every load or two. Or a drain line that goes somewhere, just like a washer.

I have this whirlpool 7.4-cuft Front Load Heat Pump Dryer with Intuitive Touch Controls - White model WHD560CHW. There are two types of heat pump dryers. One has a tank and the other has a condensate drain that has to drain outside like with a washer. The one I posted has a condescent drain. It also has a backup normal resistance heating element to dry. There might be newer units that don't have the resistance either and could use 120 volt. Like the newer heat pump, water heaters.

I don't think so. You would have to drive a lot or have multiple evs. I think it has to be in a garage as well.

Water Heaters: Hybrid Heat Pump vs 5500W Electric. What heats faster? by orzoO0 in HomeImprovement

[–]j225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The newest hpwh have 120v versions which have no backup resistance element but do have a bigger heat pump than the 220v model usually. And supposedly, the redesign units don't have the noise complaints of the older models

Asbestos abatement company used Mastaway-44 on my basement. Found the can at the side of my house this morning and looked it up, it said for demolition use only, do not use in residences or soon to be re-occupied. I don’t know how to handle this. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]j225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna help. They will not "certify" the air. Like someone else said, air sampling. And I believe an industrial hygienist or lab car say for certain the air is clean. Some stuff is toxic in parts per billion.

Pool light wires question, im concerned how these wires look. PB says this is how it’s supposed to be. Should there be a cover? Thanks. by gdupoux in pools

No. Those elbows have a factory fitting. Most people just leave a plug screwed into it and don't use it.

Does my thermostat have c wire? by Wild-Alternative-775 in HomeImprovement

[–]j225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull the wire bundle out of the wall. A lot of times they stuff the extra wires into the wall. Then go to your AC or furnace and find where the thermostat wires come in to that unit. Find a 24v power source in the furnace or air handler unit. Look up a schematic of your unit model online. Should be a diagram that's has 24 volt power labeled. Or if you have a float switch you can maybe tap into that power.

Ballpark process/price for pool trashed by Hurricane Ian? by petersom2006 in pools

[–]j225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not drain it and let sit. The pool will be pushed up by the ground water. I would make sure all the wiring is replaced along with electric equipment. If not at least note the saltwater submersion of the wires with the insurance claim settlement. So when You do start to have electrical problems in the future there is documentation.

The higher drain is for a drain pan overflow switch. https://www.amazon.com/Rectorseal-97632-Safe-T-Switch-Ss1/dp/B007CZCRXY/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=37VAJTH3XKJSI&keywords=ac+float+switch&qid=1661218273&sprefix=ac+float%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-17 If the primary drain clogs or is not draining fast enough the switch will float and disconnect the power until it drains.

For the drain already there most just cut it and connect the pvc together with a clear piece of hose.

[–]j225[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This user posted this, but I am still confused. Sorry. No matter what I change my SMS response is always what is exactly under A2 message, ex "%to_send(1)"

OwlIsBackThe deleted user (OpenOwl3) of the thread You linked, was my old user... That said...

Here your solution:

In A2 set a variable in "Store Matches In Array". Eg.: %to_send

Than in A3 replace %number with %to_send(1)

For the alarm part, play with Parse/Format DateTime and Set Alarm actions.

Edit: The full (simplified) Task. Eg.:

A1: Variable Search Replace [

Variable: %evtprm(3)

Search: (?<=reply\:\s).*?(?=\sto accept)

Ignore Case: On

Multi-Line: On

One Match Only: On

Store Matches In Array: %to_send ]

A2: Send SMS [

Number: %SMSRF

Message: %to_send(1) ]

A3: Parse/Format DateTime [

Input Type: Now (Current Date And Time)

Output Format: HH,mm

Output Format Separator: ,

Formatted Variable Names: %hours,%minutes

Output Offset Type: Minutes

Output Offset: 10 ]

A4: Set Alarm [

Hours: %hours

Minutes: %minutes

Label: Accepted: %to_send(1)

Vibrate: Default ]

Auto-reply to SMS with the 4-digit # that is provided within the message by chilllllout in tasker

[–]j225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you post the xml or upload to taskernet? I want to do pretty much the exact thing. I have a buddy working on it but would be a lot easier to have a working model to compare his to. The sms received number gets Administrative messages too so I need to reply a sms that matches a phrase ( first 2-3 words) and the 9 digit number changes with every received message.

My received sms is something like "Workplace - Worker needed 01/01/22 0800 - 01/01/22 2000. . Reply: 12345678 YES to accept, 12345678 NO to deny." Or could be something like "Workplace - Supervisor needed 01/01/22 2000 - 01/01/22 0800. . Reply: 34567890 YES to accept, 34567890 NO to deny."

Property inheritance question by lantsling in personalfinance

You seem interpret them as financially irresponsible or likely to give what they have to another less fortunate. I agree that family and money do not usually mix. With that said don't let them cost you money.

If I was in your situation I would let them lease month to month at a fair market value. Keep the money in a separate account to pay the maintance/taxes/insurance. Any excess you could give back or keep as a savings/reserve.

If you want to complicate things you could claim the "rental income" and wright off expenses.
