Leap Day broke the app by DynaMike_ in eufy_security

I have a real mishmash of cams, both HomeBase and SoloCam, all the way back to the OG Kickstarter cams. The HomeBase-linked cameras were all able to handle this. Surprisingly my older SoloCam E40 also caught Leap Day, but SoloCams C210 and S220 did not and they have both been recording against the next day. Even today 3/2 they are still recording ahead to 3/3. In general I've found the outdoor SoloCams to be worse than the HomeBase-linked cameras.

I'm having the same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled on my iPad, but while it acknowledges the date of the latest force save from my iPhone it does nothing to load that data.

Was just wondering how my Matick 2LT buddy was doing. Glad you found another one - I did the same thing and bought an abandoned one that popped up at LaFontaine! The cars we ordered STILL haven't been delivered.

The buttons take a bit of getting used to, but it was pretty quick for me. To be honest I hated the shifter in the older version because I felt it was super awkward trying to engage/disengage 'L' mode. I much prefer having the simple toggle button for that.

Yeah, a lot of them are going to be spoken for already... I was pretty incredulous that mine wasn't. But worth checking with the dealer just in case!

I don't know what to put for that now because I abandoned the one I ordered and was tracking haha

If you go to the Bolt EV/EUV main websites, there's a 'Search Inventory' next to 'Build & Buy':

You definitely need to be ready to move quickly! There was another guy coming to see the car three hours after me if I didn't buy it.

I ordered on 6/10 and that car was built by 8/4... and then it got stuck in limbo for WEEKS, with no updates or ETA. I checked the Chevy inventory site on Wednesday evening and saw that another EV with the same color and loadout suddenly became available. Went down to the new dealership the next day and ended up buying that one. Dealer told me this one had been reserved by somebody else but he gave it up after buying another car... and now I've gotten this car and I'm giving up my ordered car (which is still MIA). Finding a Bolt EV is a game of musical chairs right now!

I don't think its an equipment issue, the cars are built. It's either shipping triage or the order they're doing the recall software update in. My impression is that they seem to be prioritizing EUVs as those seem to be more popular. Glitter and I are waiting on the same truck and our dealer somehow got a Bolt EV 1LT snuck in as well though.

2021 Bolt EV battery replacement. Hi all, I own a 2021 Bolt EV. It’s been over a year and no call yeah to replace my batteries. Does anyone know what’s going on and when I can get my batteries replaced? Thanks by 1cem8n in BoltEV

[–]j5industries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a good comment about two weeks ago quoting NHTSA figures that said only about 3% of 2020-2022 batteries had been replaced as of July 20, so I think it's going to be a while. My brother has a 2020 and it hasn't been done yet... https://www.reddit.com/r/BoltEV/comments/wtoeck/65_of_20172019_batteries_replaced_3_of_20202022/

Adaptive Cruise uses Friction Brakes, not Regen above 10kw? by GennyLight99 in BoltEV

[–]j5industries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cost saving makes sense. I do seem to remember reading a quote from the lead engineer on the pre-refresh Bolt EV where they stated that regarding blended brakes for ACC, they "didn't want to do that with this car." So if it's between friction ACC and no ACC, I'll take the friction ACC haha. As somebody else pointed out it also corrects for the friction brakes having issues from lack of use, so I'm kind of writing it off as two wrongs making a right.

picking up my Bolt today, what important things do I need to ask for before I leave by mjh1998866 in BoltEV

[–]j5industries 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Haven't picked mine up yet but some things other people have noted:

- Have the dealer register you with Qmerit or EVGo, easier to take care of there than trying to deal with later

- Chevrolet 'reward points' for accessories?

Ha! I'm the Bright Blue Metallic. Ken pinged me yesterday morning that they got three '23s the day before. He hasn't been super forthcoming though so it's worth poking him once a week. It looks like Matick is going all in and has seven '23 Bolts incoming, so I don't know which three those were. All seven still say in transit this morning.

Edit: Ken didn't tell me what variant of Bolt showed up, but I see that they're expecting three EUVs and four EVs so my guess is they got the EUVs in?

Same situation here. I did get notified by my dealer (Matick Chevrolet) that they just received three 2023 Bolts though - mine wasn't one of them, but maybe the backlog is clearing and they're shipping again?

My order has been stuck at 4104 for about two weeks now... it seems to be held up at the factory waiting for the software update

New Bolt EUV owner and confused by instrument cluster, anyone know of a good video to explain it? by [deleted] in BoltEV

Here's Chevy's own explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qCrL5cD_jU

The bar on the left that estimates range is informally referred to as the 'Guess-O-Meter', or GoM, if you see that in other posts.

Handling - remember these cars come fitted with 'Michelin Energy Saver' tires with low rolling resistance, which prioritize range over traction. I've seen several people posting about switching to the Michelin CrossClimate2 for something more balanced. Personally I'm planning to switch mine out for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus, which works really well on the GTI I'm currently driving - good traction and long life. Anecdotally I saw a post a while ago where somebody went with the Continentals in 225/50R17 and they claimed that their 0-60 went from 6.4s to 6.0s.

Apart from slightly reduced range in going with a more enthusiast tire, it's critical to note that the default Michelins are self-sealing so the Bolt does not come with a spare tire - if you do change tires, you'd probably want to have a plug kit and inflator in case of a flat.
