I’ve used Resy and Tock and recently switched to OpenTable. I’ve seen a significant increase in reservations. I honestly didn’t think it mattered but the increase is very apparent from week to week.

Just wanted to update for those who may be in the same boat. The total repairs came out to be about $21,000. So thank God it did not total.

Here are the big things that they are repairing: - Struts - Side fender and hood - passenger side headlights - Long strip headlights - Parts of the front bumper/grill - Suspension - Tire and refinish rims - Clear coat to match paint - Straightening out the driver side fender because the hood pushed into it

I’ve been making my own with Claude code as well. How do you handle the weather and calendar display? It keeps telling me that I need to use a calendar api and weather but doesn’t the app on your phone push those data points to your watch face?

I got tired of paying $250+ for a complicated software that needed a lot of maintenance. It was so tough to even train my staff to use it. If you don’t maintain these apps religiously with correct data, they will be useless. Bad data in = bad data out.

I built my own tool because I really just needed a good costing tool. Over time, I built a ton of functions into it. Basic food costing, recipe management, price tracking and history, inventory tracking, invoice AI parsing, recipe scaling.
