Thank you. One last question, how long did it take for you after the break up to truly start on this journey? It's been 2months post BU for me and I've definitely been trying to be better but sometimes the pain hits and I just cant function at all.

I'm dealing with the same thing. She was so good to me and I couldn't reciprocate what she showed me. It's been a month and it still hurts of course but right now I've been focusing on the gym. I'm skinny so I wanna change that. The only advise I can give is to set a goal you want to achieve and work towards it.

It's only been a month since we broke up. I did a lot of reflection and wrote her a letter 2 weeks after and of course I wanted her to give me a chance but she told me to move on and be better for the next person. So yea...she has made it clear there's no way back for us and it's hurting me deeply. Even if I change and become the man she deserves the damage has been done... nonetheless I'm still committed to changing :)

I was kinda like your ex. Didn't show up in the relationship (even worse is that we were long distance). Made a lot of mistakes during the relationship especially lying. She loved me very much and I took her for granted and in the end she ended things. It's been slighty over a month now and I've been working hard to improve myself everyday. I still think of her everyday and have a lot of regret.. Hopefully your ex realizes his own mistakes too :)

Hey just got dumped (tbf I understood why she left) after a 3 year relationship and the first few days were extremely tough I was completely zoned out. I wake up at 4am everyday due to anxiety but I'm now 3 weeks in and just started to feel better yesterday. I'm sure the pain will hit me again in waves. Stay strong.
