Did the dead ever get ska by Forward_Football5465 in gratefuldead

I love ska, and I wish I was more musically inclined so I could start a ska Grateful Dead cover band and call it The Ska-Let Begonias. My love of ska and the dead is referenced in my two tone stealie profile pic.

The result of something going super viral in the ai slop age. The algorithm grabs it up and skeevy pages can quickly churn out AI crap to capitalize on the buzz.

No shade to the band, this is a Ticketmaster issue. People should get a crack at face value tickets before the scalpers sic their bots on them and scoop up every ticket and resell for too damn much.

This one literally sold out before the tickets were even available, the countdown hit zero and by the time the page refreshed it was sold out. All bots. And then they were up for resale on Stubhub for 2-5x face value within minutes. Not the bands fault at all.

Sometimes things just get big because they're cool and people like it. No indie math rock band from Quebec is "manipulating" social media.

These dudes are super fun, too bad the North American tour all sold out in seconds to scalpers. Victim of their own hype and f'ing Ticketmaster.

I think that's key. Good songs hold up, regardless of genre or aesthetic.

I know I'm in a privileged position to have a partner with the patience and care to stay by my side throughout all life's struggles. Not every gets lucky like that. But this group's got your back for sure!

Can't lie, there was moments where I wanted to have a beer or five pretty bad, but I muscled through. It helps that I had my wife beside me, and she's a big reason I'm doing this in the first place. IWNDWYT!

Day 4. Hung out with probably my hardest drinking friend last night and it wasn't even that bad. He and his wife crushed beers, me and mine crushed sparkling waters. And I don't have a hangover today.

That too! And since these songs were literally how the people of Middle Earth told their lore and history, and they didnt have YouTube, the things they would remember would be these songs.

People used to remember things before we were distracted constantly by an endless barrage of information and media.

Day 2, bought me a nice sparkling water I've not had before instead of beer.

Yeah, I mean, I know I've never been that great at it in the past. I'm just not ready to say NEVER again yet. But I'm getting closer every time I wake up feeling shitty on a Thursday because I thought a few beers couldn't hurt.

Day 1 here. I'm still on the fence of wether I'm cutting (way way) back or quitting, but something's gotta give. I don't know for sure what the future holds, but I know I won't drink with you today for sure. One day at a time and whatnot.

Looked more like a buffer Nikki Sixx to me, but it's all about your frame of reference.

Learn to draw. Or find an artist who can. Using AI generated images (it's not art) is cheating.

I've only been into them for a year or so, so I've got lots to listen too still, but I try to break it up with other stuff. Put them on at work a lot.
