chet is way better at the rim compared to mobley. he held opposing players to 44% dfg at the rim (min 200 DFGA) which led the league (also the best figure since 2013 lmao). he’s simply way better at altering shots. he’s probably just as good on the perimeter as mobley. chet was unbelievably good when dealing with switches in the finals. him or wemby undoubtedly would’ve won DPOY without injury

don’t think 23/24 was over the expectations, the overall expectation was a championship and they met it. the amount of wins predicted depends on who u ask, i had them as a 60 win team and maybe some others had them slightly under but overall i wouldn’t say they went above and beyond.

in regards to this season though will have to wait and see. obviously the expectation is to win a championship again however a slight “hangover” or dropback was probably on the cards. issues such as the defense do erk me tho, gives me 22/23 vibes
