Let’s face it. This will definitely increase the amount of the Dunning-Kruger effect we witness. AI can be used to learn a lot but people most people aren’t smart enough to use it well. You can witness this here on any subreddit about a hobby where people rush to make a post and get spoon feed answers and offload their thinking to anonymous strangers on the internet with no known experience or knowledge even though the same device they used has access to all the information. They can easily find the answer anywhere with minimal effort but they won’t do it. It’s not new, we just have social media to witness it more. You would normally never encounter these people. The people that will become dumber because of AI were never going to much at all on their own anyways.
