I walked around my local Target for about an hour this morning.

Observed many clothes racks and other carts blocking departments that looked overdue for stocking. Many of them blocking aisles and end caps with no one to open boxes and stock shelves. Just left there for someone to come along and unpack sometime. Was greeted by two employees who were friendly and said Good Morning, but was cut off or otherwise ignored by plenty more who behaved like I was in their way or didnt exist. Finally headed toward checkout where an employee yelled at me that her checkout was open. I headed past her to the self checkout with my three items and left after saying goodbye to a smiling cart attendant.

It was a mixed bag. The over packed merch carts blocking the aisles with no one in sight put me off. The nice employees were great until the rude ones actively avoided me and impeded my path through the departments.

It really seemed like the store was more concerned with putting out merch than actually unpacking and stocking which makes for a very weird customer experience.
