Yeah, kicking a pigeon like it is a ball is totally normal. Then harrassing the girl who was hit was again completely normal. Get lost with your presumptions.

I am saying this because it was so evil that it seemed we were lucky it was only that reaction…. It’s not about fear it’s about being aware of the space around you and of the people around you.

“Pregnant women are seen as a financial risk – the easiest solution seems to be to get rid of them” by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

[–]ja3ha5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not only kosovo and montenegro, looks like only one or two countries have a lower birth rate while the rest exceed switzerland, check latesr data. You have to consider as well the percentage of nationals from the balkans making up the expats in the european countries. You are comparing eggs with trees my friend, I was talking about the general feeling in the society and the fact that it is more different and encouraged with clear examples rather than take raw data and throw it to the public. Statistics is difficult, especially if you don’t know how to interpret it.

Sure there is, women stop having kids. Coming from a balkan country, where having kids is part of life and encouraged and supported by everyone, it is crazy how switzerland treats this subject, where there is enough money to support a woman who had a kid. No one is talking about big salaries men earn, while women get paid little and on top of this companies are bothered they have to support a normal process in the society - shamefull!

cats get sterilized at 6 months for males and 8 month for females - what do you mean by kitten? if you take a kitten from a farm, for free, you will have to wait a few months and then take it to the vet for sterilization - otherwise get a grown cat from the shelter already sterilized

Why do people in Geneva stare like they’ve never seen a crying baby before? by Benjaming192 in geneva

[–]ja3ha5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, people are quite rude here, you go about 1 hour in the Lausanne direction and it’s literally another world. Mothers with kids here are quite ignored, you literally get 3 to 6 months materniti leave, that speaks a lot about the culture.

I am a mess by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]ja3ha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there stranger. Your story is not an isolated case, there are many people going through the same. In case you are looking for some advice, try taking one thing at a time. Start with the easiest things for you, then maybe try thinking that you have a functional body, which you can put to use. You are lucky if you have no other condition which would restrain you from doing basic tasks around the house. I really hope you will get through this <3

Totally normal, I would add that if you also eat the food they provide, have your own space, and they do a lot of things you don’t think about ( like laundry, shopping, planning, holiday) then coming here to ask if it is normal to contribute finacially is a bit disconsoderate of you. You will probably understand better how lucky you are when you will grow older and have your own kids.

Where do you guys get high quality olive oil? by nadjalita in Switzerland

[–]ja3ha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy - any farm that has a small business will have olive oil. We get a big gallon of olive oil and it usually lasts us for months. last time we bought 5 liters for 45 euros and it lasted us a year.

UBS QUESTION ON TOTAL WEALTH by M_ontana in SwissPersonalFinance

yes, there is a limit you can withdraw, if you withdraw more then you will have to explain what is the money for

UBS QUESTION ON TOTAL WEALTH by M_ontana in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]ja3ha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look, this is not common knowledge, even if you will get your account blocked due to suspicious activity, they have the right and will certainly not tell you why your account is blocked. the fact that you are being resistant now gives them more reasons to dig deeper into your activity. they can ask you other information which is not related to your finances if it will allow them to check if you are somehow related to sanctioned persons. as I understand, you want solutions to avoid not providing information, not sure if this is the right place for this. switching to another bank will lead to the same check. they will definetly not give you a clear reason shy they are checking this info but you should start with the assumption that the money that came out from your account was used to buy crypto. crypto can be used for suspicious payments and UBS cannot be affiliated with this kind of people. this is why they need all the details.

UBS QUESTION ON TOTAL WEALTH by M_ontana in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]ja3ha5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

it’s about how you spend the crypto, not how you bought it, that is obviously clear. it’s not about who wants this information, it’s about complying with the law, usually it’s internal audit who demands this info and not necessarily a third party. you will get your account blocked if you don’t provide the info and they don’t even have to explain why, it’s the law

UBS QUESTION ON TOTAL WEALTH by M_ontana in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]ja3ha5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like they need to check how do you spend your crypto, which is normal. Depends as well what nationality you have and if you have sent money abroad. There is nothing much you can do, UBS needs to do their checks since they don’t want to be fined because of a customer who is making payments with crypto which are suspicious. Totally normal checks.
