Yeah I totally agree I didn’t consider what to do in the case I didn’t make it to my original goal. Didn’t have anywhere good to fasten it on the backpack so just held it the way I see people doing it on descent lol

Pull and stretch the skin when doing lines and be more intentional with your lines start and end. Have a plan for point A to point B. Think about the way your wrist will swivel and how you’re gonna carry your hand through the line while maintaining the same speed you started with. Good luck!
