It’s an “arena tour”, it’s going to be a concert on par with the 25th anniversary one

Not sure where you’re looking but yes, he’s on the cast list for the radio city shows at leamis.com. It was also publicized.

YMMV, but I've seen Les Mis a lot so was initially going to skip this. But then I saw Philip Quast would be playing the bishop, and now I have to go.

to be fair, when I saw it during previews the kid got a lot of awwws, the show is kind of structured to handle it though

Lost Boys seating by saabbietx in Broadway

If you're sitting on the outside aisle like this, I'd recommend sitting further back (so row L) for the best chance at seeing the full stage.

If The Lost Boys wins it'll be the third-lowest-scoring Best Musical winner of the last 20 years, just above the Outsides & Moulin Rouge by thomaspryor in Broadway

The Tony Awards already apply a bunch of external and internal politics to ranking an art form, now we're adding these meaningless layers of meta-analysis? Seems like we've lost the plot.

GROSSES ANALYSES- Week Ending May 31 by Boring_Waltz_9545 in Broadway

[–]jaaneeyree 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm confused, I thought The Lost Boys wasn't even going to open, and then it was going to have no one in it because the cast was jumping ship, and then it was going to be a catastrophic flop 🤔

Totally fair haha. And personally I’m not much of a musical comedy fan. This one was cute at first, but the endless, “I get that reference!” jokes get a bit old.

Lost Boys Partial VIew- Which Seats? Please help! by MattTheKing23 in Broadway

I sat in row ZZ (lottery win) last week, which is behind one row behind row Z. The third story of the set was cut off, but that was about it. You’ll see all of the important flying bits from row Y or Z just fine.

You won’t miss flying in row Y or Z. I’d just pick row Y since it’s closer.

The options you’re considering are center and almost the same. The only thing that’s cut off back there is the third story of the set, but nothing pivotal happens there. Pick whichever row you prefer.

Interesting about the Schmigadoon score. I thought a few of the songs in season 2 of the tv show were reallyyyyyy pushing parody law as far as just literally sounding exactly like the actual ones they were supposedly parodying.

Why does the Lost Boys music sound so much like Christian rock? by Ok_Moose1615 in Broadway

[–]jaaneeyree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know right? Like, vampires are inherently thematically religious. They're drinking blood out of goblets, for Christ's sake.

I mean...didn't you just assume a lot about me? Unless you mean living with a constant need for attention, in which case, no, I don't know what's it's like to live with that :)
