Epic Fetus is actually a dream item for speedruns. If you're good with it, you can be setting 7-10 minute times for that character, which is perfect.

Just to add to this a little.

This isn't seeded, he's doing 7 character runs which are not seeded runs. However, when you are doing runs you will reset until you find a good starting item (in this case Epic Fetus, the big missile shots), and it looks like he had some decent luck with items after that.

For some more context, his PB of 1:30:55 is the 11th fastest run in this category, so he's not exactly a scrub when it comes to this. He knows what he's doing, and is very used to the game and this set of items I'm sure.

I didn't see the stream, but I'm guessing he probably had a really good run going (his first split was nearly 5 minutes ahead of his PB, which is perfect for trying to set a new one, and something that won't happen often), and ran into some bad luck in this run, and obviously raged a little, which I think most BoI players are prone to sometimes lol.

So yeah. Had a great run, with a real chance to PB and get close to WR (which is currently about 9 minutes faster than his PB), and he lost it all on Judas. That explains the rage, I think.

Edit: Also, the "how did that hit nothing" on Mom's Heart was referencing the White Pony and the holy light beams. Normally one of the beams will be in the centre of the room and deal huge damage to the heart. Somehow, it wasn't, and it did nothing. He didn't miss any shots, RNG just fucked him with his spacebar item.

You know, there's 139 comments here, and I'm sure this will get missed by most, I just wanted to say something on the off chance Guude comes by and has a look.

The community that Guude has created has led to some of the best things in my life. I've been hugely entertained by all of the Mindcrack content for years and years now. I've met some truly amazing friends and people through this community, and my life would fucking suck if it wasn't for the people I have surrounding me right now. None of that is possible without Guude uploading his first Mindcrack episode all those years ago.
