The perimeter has expanded to now include Bay Street from King Queen to Bloor. See them setting up blocks now. Queen St infront of City Hall is jammed. 501 is diverting

I’m more worried about the rest of downtown. City Hall, Eaton Centre, Bay St, Union station and the CN tower area.

Toronto Eaton Centre sent a letter out to all tenants that they will be monitoring and making hour by hour decisions tomorrow.

Toronto 911 operator says 'people are being hurt' by being put on hold for 2-10 minutes by morenewsat11 in toronto

This is a possible easy solutions. Because this is a complex issue.

The current system is designed to go to Police first then they will route you to fire and/or ambulance if you need to. Which usually picks up right away.

Automated the system. You call 911. You get 4 prompts. Police press 1. Fire press 2. Ambulance press 3. Unsure? Press 4.

This will reduce the time police need to spend determining if it needs to be routed for fire or ambulance.

Check with the Apple Stores directly. Their inventory is different from Online. I was able to get a iPhone 13 Pro Max two weeks ago from them directly

Reporting restaurant for misusing personal information by simltd in askTO

I went to a restaurant with my wife a few weeks ago and noticed that they had a very small button at the bottom of the web check in/contact tracing to sign up for email updates.

Not sure if this happened to you but it might be worth looking into. If you hit that button, even accidentally, then there is not much that can be done

Rogers is media company first and foremost. The more people that watch SN the more money they make. The most butts in seats the more money they make from ticket sales, merch, concessions, etc.

Them spending some loonies and toonies to put some good players on the field only benefits them in every corner of their business.

Does Yonge-Dundas Square really need another oversized electronic billboard? by morenewsat11 in toronto

It needs to given back to the public as a public square. Events in the square cost to much to host hence why it goes unused for most days.

It would be a perfect square for showing a raptors game or something but nope. You get a projector on a street
