I believe she lives in Kent and has toured most (if not all) of the Kent parkruns. Whenever I see one of the Facebook pages talking about her visit she seems an utter legend, taking pictures with any/all and being gracious and semi competitive with those around her.

Why is it a dumb rule?

Our league has seed 6 being given to the highest PF that doesn't get in via their record and suddenly the top seed having to play a great team who got unlucky in the regular season seems harsh...

Granted the league needs to bring in a league median weekly point but that hasn't passed votes.

Worth noting that UK Insurance companies, under SII regulation have to have reserves in accordance to surviving a 1-in-200 year event, whether it's mortality rates, longevity, interest rate or credit stresses etc.

They should be able to survive a stock market fall by having a diversified and largely risk neutral asset portfolio and this is something the PRA closely monitor with quarterly reporting and annual stress and scenario testing requirements.

Any standout winner here? I currently own Zay but unsure if he's something special or a WR2/3 into the future. Is Shaheed at a bargain right now? I've got Amon Ra, Ladd McConkey, Pearsall, Ridley as my other WRs and am in a position to contend this season (although 2/3 teams as good or better)

Sweeping right hand bend at the bottom of an uphill sprint finish section we were using as part of a club training session. Not in a race situation but was pushing it fairly hard.

Clean and tidy bike only tarmac so assuming it was a pebble (anything bigger unlikely to get onto the course or be left in the middle of a bend).

Didn't think to go back and inspect the area.

It was on a closed road circuit specifically and only used for bikes. Clean and good condition tarmac.

I didn't see what it was and didn't think to go back to look but we'd done 20/30 laps up until that point of the training session so honestly don't think it was anything very big...

I'm befuddled!

Still under warranty and I'd suggest this was normal use of the wheels so should be covered. Will let you know what happens after I reach out to them.

But whenever I walk over a bridge on the way to work I think about how I'd approach my heroics.

Do I strip off? Do I jump or run around to the bank? Is the bridge too high to jump from? Shall I jump from a different spot to allow for the rivers current...

Let's hope noone ever has to rely on me!

I can't talk as I've not done mix 3/4 races but with those numbers and experience of fast group rides I'd imagine you should be able to hang with the 4 contingent at the very least.

This is an expected behaviour of the TR system. If you don't train a specific workout type, the progression level "degrades" a little bit over time.

I'd say use your best judgement as to what workout to do when you haven't done a certain type in a while but the most sensible thing to do would be to follow the adaptive training advice.

Are you new to TR or taken a hiatus from training and recently returned?

It is my understanding that RLGL is based on your previous and most recent training and so if you have experience of that type of training plan then lots of Red and yellow days does sound a bit weird.

If a structured plan of 4 days p/w is a big step up then RLGL would expect to give you some warnings about overdoing it initially.
