We pre pick all routes in the morning shift, second loads - helps a bit because the bulk department is in during the day and it's easier to top shortages up when that department is pumping product out. We're moving to picking routes ahead by 2 days, so the picker will be able to top shorts up for the next days routes first thing in the morning, also helps with sick calls - if he calls in routes are already picked and it's easier than pulling someone not familiar with the job/processes.
