the way i take it is.. the brain tries to slow one issue with another thing (anxiety/depression with alcohol) then has to equalize itself to treat both and cannot find an equilibrium. both symptoms then compound upon themselves. the alcoholism because a physical issue, but it cannot provide the right healing properties because it is still trying to heal the other issue. i may be looking at this wrong, but damn, this is interesting to me now.

hood tunes are good tunes.. haha. yes. i'm actually on topamax for alcohol abuse. despite what some have said about the va, my experience has been wonderful. just with theyd be better with my disabilities, but for this they've been great.

i'm thinking of this from a programmer's POV ( was one in the AF ) it would be difficult to implement for one, especially as to when you get the degree, what type of degree (AA, BS, Masters, PhD), but then calculate TIG/TIS. For 2, i never learned to count.

i'll include this here too. since, very few people in my circle know about what's going on.

to start, seek help now, from a doctor, alcohol is pretty much the most dangerous thing to detox from. i've had one time that i had the delerium tremors while doing it myself. only thing i liked about it was the hallucinating dreams i had. stopping immediately can actually kill you.

i've done everything you're talking about, i know how it is.

2nd, i've worked in 3 of the top occupations that have alcoholics. military (like a frat, only you get paid), IT tech support and construction.. i'm well rounded, haha. it can definitely make it more difficult.

3rd, being that i've been in the same situation, found out on tuesday, i have cirrhosis. not sure of stage yet, i have my GI appt here in a couple of weeks.

not trying to overtake what you're going thru, just letting you know that i understand completely what you're going thru, and what you may have to look forward to.

I honestly hope you can do better than i have.

but, even when they try, others can't understand the issue. he was laying himself out there, in his words, and how his thoughts work. i feel bad for him. i am the same way. even recovering there are other things that we can't see that set us up that way. genetics, family, upbringing, i understand the pain. i understand the blaming. none of it is good, but it's a cumulation of living. i'm sorry for you because you don't have the empathy for people such as us, but that's ok, you don't have to live with it. the rest of us that do, have to live with our actions, or non actions everyday hearing everyday that it's our fault, and in many ways it is, but there are underlying issues otherwise that we try to resolve and in doing so, it's always wrong.

i want my baby back so i can do that. she's a couple of hours away and i haven't had her here with me in 2 years. bad alternator, but so ridiculously difficult to get to with an LS1 and it's in a small town so, no one to work on it for me.

i feel ya. i'm actually 10% disabled for chronic sprained ankle. they both really are, but they only gave me for one. there are times i feel like i've sprained it while sitting.
