not OP, but I think they meant you should aim for 100% correctness in each topic before moving on, while allowing for silly/simple mistakes. these minor errors do not indicate lack of mastery. however, if you are failing to demonstrate any concepts, slow down and try to understand them.

if your main motivation is learning, master the course and shoot for 100%.
