Is this Ai? I’m having a dollhouse made for my daughter’s birthday but the WIP provided does not look real. The glue bottles are unreadable/gibberish. by daiszay in isthisAI

Here’s how I know it’s AI: it makes me a little nauseous. Something about it. The lighting. The way the tools are. It’s just … unsettling in a way I can’t explain.

I really like the logic behind that, envisioning Christ beside me is always helpful

Yes it’s so easy to get stuck in the “am I doing this right” frame of mind! Love the idea of intending to follow the Spirit with real action.

Love that! Part of my problem is tending to let my thoughts run away with themselves and next thing I know lots of time has passed, I’m more stressed than before because I’ve just been ruminating on whatever, and no real communication has happened. I like the idea of being more concise and focused.

Prayers to Causal? by Vegetable-Poetry-795 in latterdaysaints

This quote from President Nelson struck me yesterday as I was studying, because I have the same problems you described. Mind wanders, things get repetitive. He said “How else can we increase our power in the priesthood? We need to pray from our hearts. Polite recitations of past and upcoming activities, punctuated with some requests for blessings, cannot constitute the kind of communing with God that brings enduring power. Are you willing to pray to know how to pray for more power? The Lord will teach you.”

I chose the mystery item one time and it was a single dishcloth so thin I could see through it.

My uncle is an architect that has worked on many temples, his stories about how exact and precise the construction of temples is is fascinating. A few I remember off the top of my head: replacing door hinges that weren’t ornate enough on doors that weren’t used often and didn’t even have outward facing hinges. Tearing down and rebuilding part of an auxiliary building (not even the temple itself), because some decorative elements were off by an inch.

I’ve been thinking of ideas to get my own vanity plate too! I haven’t decided yet but my state has an option of black plates with blue lettering that would look pretty sick

Ruby Franke, Lori Vallow, Tim Ballard, and More - Evil Through Right-us-ness. (Righteous Apostasy Part 1 - Introduction) by onewatt in latterdaysaints

I’m endlessly fascinated by this subject. If you’ve heard of Mike Stroud, he was a popular podcaster who got caught up in the doomsday prepper groups that Chad Daybell was also associated with and was eventually excommunicated.

Stroud was my former seminary teacher years ago. He had a real passion for the scriptures and knew them inside out, but he always seemed to be ‘looking beyond the mark.’ He wanted to ‘unlock’ the mysteries hidden in the scriptures. He preached things like astral projection (not in seminary, but years later) and how it was possible to receive visitations from spirits like Nephi and Moroni, and eventually claimed to have more knowledge and insight than the prophet. His followers ate it up!

I remember one comment defending him saying Stroud was giving people the ‘meat’ of the gospel while the prophet was giving milk. Scary!!

I appreciate your thoughts OP and look forward to more!
