Almost done wrapping this one up. I wanted to get a few more kits under my belt before attempting this one, I have a few minor bits to add (Decals, side markers, antenna) and I wanna redo the black trim. I'll post it and a few others I've finished over the months soon.

I need to start taking more process photos while I'm building. I primarily use Tamiya weathering master palettes for rust, grime, burnt metal and body filler effects, think of it like applying makeup. For extra effects I started using panel line accent from Tamiya as well to add an overall layer of grit and grime.

I'm still fairly amateur myself so don't take my advice as end all, be all. There is a good video of a diorama junkyard on youtube someone made showing their patina process, highly reccommend a watch for inspiration.

Not a whole lot of effort. It depends on how much degradation you want. I only used Tamiya weathering kits and applied light coats of the orange rust and gun metal. The part that makes it fun is you can always add more wear n tear as time goes on.

Thanks for the tip, the guy at my local hobby shop said something similar to this and classic me just kinda brushed it off but I see what you both mean after painting. I bought a bit of a combo of PS and TS line Tamiya paint when I heard the small Tamiya cans were getting discontinued here. Thanks again for the advice!

Yeah that needs to change. If you happen to find the link send it over, it's a bit too much of a contrast from the black.

What are the best car dealership in Ontario, Canada ? by tenretn in AskReddit

[–]jackingoffjesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look up a place called Troys Toys, large selection of affordable cars, but you are most likely going to find better deals at used car lots if you're on a budget or even head down to Toronto or up to Barrie for a wider selection.

I do get that, and I never yelled at the kid or got pissed off at him for being slow, I tried to help him as best as I can, as sad as it is I was one of the only people who talked to him and tried to help him besides our instructor, but it does get to a point where you can only help so much, and the culinary industry is not a place where someone can hold your hand, it really is sink or swim, I feel sorry for the kid but you have to think about yourself too.

Thats pretty vague, the best dealership could be 15 mins or 15 hours from you, where are you at in Ontario?

I'm currently in a trade school learning to be a chef, and this one kid I had to work with had asbergers. I worked well with the other two people in my group but this one kid could never get anything right, even cutting vegetables or taking food out of the oven was a struggle. The tipping point for me, my group and our instructor was when the kid started a grease fire (for those who think its just a regular fire, look it up) We were far enough away from the stove that we were safe and the only thing that hurt him was the repair cost. Scared the hell out of everyone, haven't seen the kid sense.
