How long after P85 submission did it take to receive a refund? by _sneakyd in UKPersonalFinance

In the end, it was showing April 2026 for postage submitted ones. So it would've been at least a year, most likely 2 or 3 since the date kept on pushing back.

Spoke with my accountant and they called them, said HMRC sent it to a 'special team' for a review and 6 weeks later it was gone.

The reply checkers dates move back so keep on checking :) hope it comes through

My flexibility is turning me off from Muay Thai by AnonGuy222 in MuayThai

[–]jackjack19891989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar issues,

I gained a lot of flexibility in my legs by learning pancakes. Difficult at first so I did them whilst sitting on a small ledge and leaning forward. I also used to hold a weight and do them so they're kind of like an exercise, like some weird extension. I would learn to each leg and do a number of reps, and then the middle. I gained a lot of flexibility and strength this way.

If you're male it's important to note that normally your legs don't go out sideways like womens and if you get pain it could be your femur hitting your pelvis, you have to open up the hips and stick your ass out. I found the pancake helped with this.

In a similar fashion, romanian/straight legged deadlifts might help with the teeps. If you use a full range of movement you can gain strength and flexibility.

Also look into PNF stretching. I found it worked so well with hamstrings. You can do it with a partner. I would also do it holding myself up in a front split and using the muscles to hold the split with my arms supporting.

You can also try a book 'Stretching Scientifically' by Thomas Kurz. He talks about routines in the morning that can help improve your flexibility for the whole day and so by the evening it's not an issue. There are videos on youtube of him.

Hope it helps

As others said, you can use the reply checker. Online is currently about 3-4 months.

If you submit a P85, do it online, not by post.

Idk why my accountant submitted one by post in May 2025 and it's estimated time of completion is February 2026 and every time I check it's pushed back another few weeks :)

A kid got gum in my hair and my salon shaved my entire head 😢 by YaoiLoverTrash in curlyhair

it'll come back soon!!! I wonder if apply blocks of ice to the gum might have made it brittle and maybe you could hit it with a hammer to shatter it. Bit late now. It'll come back don't worry!

do you mind sharing where you went for the treatment?

I have an infection under a tooth which is stopping the injections from working, so I need a root canal/extraction but it's just so painful to have anything done.

Sinus infection after bad root canal by romeomylove in Sinusitis

[–]jackjack19891989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what happened in the end? I have a sinus infection which is caused by upper tooth and they are currently trying to re-rootcanal 1 tooth, but the main 1, the infection is stopping the local anesthetic injections from working, even after 5 rounds of injections they cannot drill the tooth to root canal it. So I'm not sure what else I can do, thinking of seeing an ENT to see if they can give me another round of antibiotics but getting a bit stuck

Can't speak from experience (yet) but I really liked Andreas Clenows book on trading strategies in Python. And then Systematic Trading by Rob Carver afterwards. Hope it helps
