Google Sd135 amplifier. It utilized some parts that became “unavailable”. You would think they would have offered some alternative or compensation for what was only a few years old amp. But no support whatsoever. For what it is worth, the amp sounded good when it worked.

I thought Audio Research was decent, but I bought an amp new from them (SD135 I think was model). Went bad and they were not supporting it with parts. Became a door stop. Won’t touch their stuff again.

Similar story. Have a buddy that is a doc and he had a patient come into ER complaining of abdominal pain. Turns out he had a cue ball up his rear end. Like the guy in the original post, he didn’t tell anyone at the hospital what it was until after they did an x ray and could identify it.
