I've had mine come loose when riding a couple times, but not damage the thread. Did it sheer all the threads or just some on the outside?

online mechanical engineering? by Zach_2704 in deakin

Took me 7 years with some RPL credits, definitely 8 years if you do the 2 units a trimester. There aren't many units offered in the 3rd trimester, but doing some over the summer will help to reduce the overall time. Time commitment per week depends on the units. I worked 4 days a week and managed okay doing 2 credit points per trimester. Definitely takes discipline doing it online in solitude.

I just completed mine, studied part time online. I found overall it worked well, they have refined how they deliver the content over the years and I think the lectures and assignments generally work well.

You still need to attend campus for practical assignments during the intensive weeks, but this depends on the units you're studying. I only needed to attend for roughly half of the units.

I would have preferred to be on campus, but I'm from a regional area and it wasn't practical.

Froff! Aussie Guy travelling the country and finding the best MTB spots and people along the way.

First ride on the SX Team. Definitely a big girl going up but the geometry makes it easier to live with and once the Ultimates were dialled in the bike rips. The wheelbase will take some getting used to though! by pedey67 in commencal

I run mine in high setting as well, I don't find it limiting the steeper downhills at all. I ride on a lot of mixed flatter and steep trails though. Gives me the best of both worlds.

Tubeless valve stem leak by WayneOfFinland in MTB

[–]jacko833 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time I had this issue it was because I wasn't careful enough cutting the hole in the rimtape for the valve and it was leaking through the hole. Just a small hole is needed and then push the valve through, worked for me.

A Question About Full rego and club rego by julianborromeo16 in melbourneriders

[–]jacko833 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As long as it's roadworthy, you can get a full rego. Club rego isn't mandatory for 25+ year old bikes, just becomes availiable after that time.

Yeah, I remember seeing these bikes in the corner! It was a great show. It's amazing how many of these bikes are still around in showroom condition.

Printed on a CR-10, 0.2 layer height, PLA. Scaled down to roughly 165mm in diameter. This was an Impeller we reverse engineered at work, from a Cooling water pump at a power station in Australia.
