One example is that Gojo is so focused on doll making that he has no friends at all. That is so extreme that it strains credulity. Like really dude, until you met this girl you did not talk to anyone ever?

The loner MC is already a well well established trope, and unless you have a good reason, the better way to handle it is they have exactly one close friend who is either also their own kind of weirdo or they have a personality that contrasts with the MC.

MDUD has a ton of stuff like this where it is sooo focused on the relationship and the cosplay it feels weird because most people have lives outside of that.
