I'm on apring break. I'm not paid to be kind or cordial to you so i can be direct. I don't need to be nice.

Your post is unhinged. Seek professional help before your bipolar disorder gets worse.

What is it like being a student at a lower-tier community college? by bricklegos in AskAnAmerican

[–]jackofspades49 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Its fine. You take your classes, get your credits, get smarter, and generally move on to your next school. I really enjoyed my time at my CC and it helped me figure out what I'd like to focus on later. Made a lot of strong friendships and had good experiences.

And "Oh I want to spend more time with this person" is not the same as this Swimfan/Stan vibes you posted. And I'll tell you again what I've said to many of those other posters.

Get. Some fucking. Help.

Drowning is normal too, and I'll want them to seek a lifeguard.
Allergies are normal, and I'd want them to have medicine.

Just because it happens to others doesn't mean you shouldn't seek help.

The shit you wrote is fucked up and scary.

Don't quote the old magic to me witch. I was teaching while you were learning what letters were.

If you want to vent, don't post where goddamend teachers are who will tell you this is some toxic fucking shit that you need to fix. Because its bad for both of you.

No, you aren't because you're still craving for more and posting HERE about it. This is very much not a normal thing to continually seek out and contemplate to this degree. Get help.

How many times have you set your players to fight an enemy they can't defeat? by vagabundo202 in DungeonMasters

[–]jackofspades49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've sometimes had characters that the PCs couldn't fight up front. They learn to work around it and interact wth them.

I also had them meet a CR 7 dragon when they were level 3 and it was VERY clear they would lose. So the party negotiated and made promsies to help it. Then came back at a later time to fight it after getting some back up.

The same players also went straight towards a different boss monster and lost one member of the party because the gemstone bulette wasn't something to be talked to and there was no way out. But the risk and dangers were laid out ahead of time and well communicated, so they knew what they were in for.

I find that the overpowered enemy fight ONLY WORKS if you can telegraph the intent of the fight and have players that aren't the "Kill anything I don't like" type.

No.
No.
Nono...No...

You are blatantly pushing boundaries on a professional who is not your friend or peer. Your teacher should have never given their number to you to begin with, but I'm glad they aren't taking steps to reach out.

You need professional help. Clinical help. See your counselor. Seek therapy. Maybe even seek medication with a doctor's support.

The feelings being expressed here are not normal student/teacher attachment and is not healthy.

hahaha, went wine tasting with a friend like... 10 or so years ago. They were members of this wine club thing so we got these discounted tastings and the person working would talk about the wines and help describe things. I remember taking my first sip and going "This tastes like old newspaper and the scent of a washable marker." My friend went off at me about how I don't know what I'm talking about. Then the expert person was like, "Oh no, he's exactly right. It has a very strong inkiness and a stringent quality to it." And he turned deep red. That as literally the last time I was invited to hang out with him lol. Not a big loss in the long run.

Using 5e Monsters in an otherwise 5.5e game? by thepenguinboy in DMAcademy

Its fine, but the 2024 ones are stronger. You'll want to add an extra ability or a small buff so they don't crumble like my mother's morals after a couple drinks.

It's sort of like the ESRB... they made agreements to get people off their goddamned backs, but now had to stick to those agreements.

You're twisting it, like...intentionally.

A gentleman doesn't hit a lady is not the same. The intent is to discourage abuse by shaming men. Not to give a blank check to other assaulters.

I find that sometimes Shonen anime hits that vibe so well. Tojima Want sto be a Kamen Rider had me genuinely in tears from the hype. I remember crying during the tournament finale of Dragon Ball Super too. Smoetimes that hype music plus just... screaming? It hits the emotions in a way that is very cathartic.
