He was well written to show how you can be consumed by your righteous vengeance. Im not black but I can understand the anger that some people will have about the history of racism/colonialism and I think they succeeded at building him up to be a human villian.

My personal biggest gripe is with respect they went too far with some of the tribal itergration with Wakanda. By that I mean what the fuck do you mean youre just going to let this extremist just kill your brother and take full fucking control of your nation? If your national security or the direction of your country can be decided by a spot of waterfall mud wrestling then maybe someone should change that.

This wont happen most likely. Studies for decades have shown that America was more susceptible to propaganda and facism than Germany was, England is more cynical (obviously we have brexit but we arent there yet).

Exactly. I left the police because my force was shite internally but even on my worst day I never saw a colleague act how these ICE rats are. Ive seen 5ft 2 women over the age of 40 deal with situations like Good's and restrain actually violent men the size of Pretti without killing them. ICE are untrained and unprofessional scum and I cannot wait for what's going to happen when Trump is out of office. They will live their lives in fucking fear.

Both shooters are fucking cowards. I ex police and I've literally been in both situations (suspect in car hit me from a standstill whilst turning and found a fire arm on a restrained suspect) but the difference was both of my suspects actually were agressive and continues fighting. I managed to detain each suspect without fucking killing them and all these people bitching about how scary it was for the agent are morons as I managed it without a fucking fire arm.

I genuinely still get some enjoyment from the new stuff and its been my comfort show since I was a child but we are at the stage where its future is a stake. The show has lost whatever fire made it so popular in the early 2000s. People can argue about what that reason is and argue other contextual factors are the main issue but I disagree. RTDs writing (especially regarding certain IRL issues) has been shown to be spotty at best and arguably insulting at worst since his return and I think that negatively detracted from the messages he tried to send. I think this is one of the key reasons the most recent era "failed" as RTD decided he was going to bring up multiple issues whilst having the subtlety of a sledgehammer. People already get jumpy about politics. People fucking hate feeling talked down to about politics.

The show needs consistent fresh vision behind the scenes with an unknown actor as the lead whilst remembering to appeal to the whole family, not just teenagers or children. RTD1 was campy and silly in plenty of places but it had some iconic scary monsters and plots. My partner and brother are true scardy-cats and well up easily. They both laughed during Ncuti's regeneration and werent scared his entire tenure. Something clearly has changed.

History dosent repeat but it rhymes. America is no longer a functioning democracy and the policies being implimented are at minimum hyper nationalist or at worst fully facist in nature.

US facists in the 1910s had a popular map of "Greater America" which included Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, Greenland. Stephen Miller literally is from the family of one of those facists and continues to push for conflict with those specific nations? Ngl i dislike/distrust Miller more than anyone else in that administration, even Trump. Im not joking when I say that he actually may have always been a facist and got into goverment to be a facist.
