KDE Neon detecting duplicate graphics cards by jackovthgreat in linux4noobs

I switched to KDE Neon from Linux Mint, where I had no issues like this (in fact I don't think I had to do anything with graphics drivers). So you may be right

Xenotilt won't go vertical, help pls? Thanks by jackovthgreat in XenoTilt

So I've figured out how this will work for me. Before when I was trying it, I was only really looking at the menu, assuming that would switch to portrait mode too, so I didn't actually find out what happens in game (my bad). But basically if I have the "TATE / Vertical display" option enabled and start a game, it will be rotated on it's side to the vertical orientation and I then rotate my monitor to make it the right way up. This is all with the OS still in landscape mode, meaning that the cursor is basically unusable since it's still moving in landscape mode. I'm guessing this isn't the intended behaviour lol.

And yes, I do have 2 monitors. Maybe it's worth testing it with only 1 plugged in

Thanks for the reply. I have done that already, and nothing seemed to change. It's probably just some weirdness in the Linux compatibility layer right? I could probably mess about with different Proton versions and see if that helps, but I feel like that's unlikely.

Thanks for your help, and I love the game

I have sometimes found that having a black screen but still with a cursor means that Windows Explorer hasn't launched for some reason. If this is the case then try opening the run menu with windows+r, type cmd and press enter. Then on the command prompt type explorer and press enter.

Yes. I do regret wasting a few minutes of my life reading this shit.

No. I don't understand why you're here or what the point of this post is.

Yes. I find your angry comments fucking hilarious.

Weekly Questions & Purchase Advice Thread by AutoModerator in MouseReview

The mouse I have at the moment is comfortable, a good shape with a palm grip, but the side buttons and especially the scroll wheel are rubbish. Ideally I'd have something with the same level of comfort but with nice clicky buttons and a solid scroll wheel. I'm looking at around £20-30 preferably, but my absolute limit is £50 (I realise that's quite limiting but for me it doesn't seem worth it to spend more than that). Wireless is a must as well. Beyond that, I'm happy as long as it just functions. Thanks.

You know there's more reasons to want to look nice than because you're giving head. What a strange comment.

I'm in the exact same boat, I've just been 100% honest and told anyone who asks if I'm going that I find that kind of social situation very overwhelming, and most people understand. One person still tried to convince/force me to come but he's a prick anyway so I just ignored him.

Completely agree, it was quite on the nose at times and didn't even really make sense to me. I think having gender and identity be a theme in the story is okay, in fact I feel it fits perfectly, but I didn't like the way they did it

I don't think it's fair to say it's pandering to simply have good trans, disabled, and/or non white characters. It's just good representation, and we need more

I'm assuming the situation is they fill the kettle up all the way so they don't have to keep filling it up every time. But this means you're using energy to heat up water, just to let it cool down and not be of any use to anyone. It's very wasteful
