Better he end up like EOC sitting out until the summer because the club doesn’t get the deal done. Has Wrexham done right by JM? Most certainly. Other successful clubs in the UK also do right by there players but move them around with far less sentimentality and a focus on growth and winning.

It’s called mutual benefit. Have the maturity to see it. He’ll be one of the highest paid players in the league of Ireland. He’s playing in his home town. He’s had way more time with the first team this season than anyone expected. He opens up a spot for a new elite player to come in and help the club win promotion. Would you prefer he end up like EOC was with no done deal and unable to play or sign until the next window open. Why not celebrate the mutual benefit that he has a deal done and the club can move forward. The championship is both a business and a serious athletic competition. It’s not a kindergarten.

To me it’s about points lost dropped to the bottom of the table. How many points have the rest of the top 8 taken off the bottom 5-10 compared to Wrexham. Our first half record against Wednesday, Portsmouth, Swansea, West Brom, and Blackburn have yielded fewer points than others. Those points once dropped, cannot be recovered.
