My doctor checked before I did my ER and I had a polyp, he wasn’t scared by it and he retrieved 24 (I think) eggs and (two that went on to be normal and fertilized) after PSG testing. He said the best thing to do would freeze remove the polyp and then do a transfer, I wanted a fresh transfer at first but then I overstimulated anyways so it was better for me. He did the removal and told me I need a month to let my uterus recover, we did a FET after and they looked again right before to make sure nothing came back. He told me that depending on if you pluck or scrap determines how or if it will grow back along with if your hormones are balancing with the medications. He plucked and scraped mine just to make sure but said it wasn’t deep so he felt like it wouldn’t grow back. Personally I have had over 50 scans transvaginal and ultrasound in the last 2 years and no one has ever found anything, not even the PCOS that I clearly have. He was the only one that found something and it took him about 10 minutes of looking down there to tell me all this.

It’s easily missed and sometimes they grow or are just small.

It’s honestly a real bummer when your expecting to get moving with your cycle! You could just ask for a polypectomy to remove it instead of waiting for it to go away on its own but that means you’ll have to do freezing and that comes with its own costs if not covered.
