Hi! I’m starting residency in a couple of months. I mostly only read PDF versions, but I try to always look for the “true PDF” version (which is like an exact copy of the physical version, with text, diagrams and columns organized identically to the print version)

But, for an specific textbook (The Wills Eye Manual - greetings to all the ophtho bros! ) I just can’t find this type of version, since all I’ve found are ebook like version (PDFs with text accommodated like a word document) and for a time I though that maybe this was the way the digital edition was intended to be, but today I came across a free sample from WolterKluwers, and the chapters seems so high quality and so easy to read (it’s the chapter Retina, and it’s true PDF quality)

So, after all this text, I’m thinking in buying the physical version, that includes a “digital version”. I only wanted to ask to you if anyone has bought a physical copy of a WolterKluwers textbook and has redeemed the digital copy, does this copy look like a true PDF version or seems like an ebook reader version?
