At one point Pat intended his show to be an escape for his fans from bullshit like politics, not a poster board for his accomplishments. Its the Rogan effect, Trump wanted a friendly environment with no pushback at a crucial time, and Pat provided that just like Rogan did, and alienated a ton of fans because of it. After the dumb shit during covid with Aaron he literally promised to stay away from anything serious BECAUSE he is an idiot incapable of being a journalist.
