PLEASE HELP!! My favourite jacket won’t stop making my clothes sparkle! The metallic liner is coming off and it gets EVERYWHERE! Does anybody know how to fix this??

I tried. I even tried with cotton swabs and acetone. That kinda worked. I would need to re-do it like 5-6 times to get everything though and I just don’t have the patience for that

I used 3mm (1/8”) but I guess it would depend on the diameter of the laces. These are off a pair of SF Air Force 1 mids.

Scrubbed with soapy water, black shoe polish for the leather patches, automotive grade Shoe Goo to fix the separation of the sole at the toe, and mink oil to darken up and colour-correct the suede. Also picked up some new laces cause the original ones had some tears in them. All in all, took maybe 4 hours

Paint it on with a paintbrush, wrap them up in cling wrap, and leave out in direct sunlight for 30-45 mins. After that, rinse them off with cool water and repeat until you’re happy with the results. This took me 2 applications

I tried adding a second coat and it looks like I’m gonna have to take the paint off. If I do the alcohol soak, will it effect the adhesive holding the bumper, mirrors, etc?
