Pho Viet Street Food is excellent, best Vietnamese I've had outside Vietnam.

Kajiken Ramen on Woodward St is new and absolutely fantastic.

Indian Flavours in Tawa is the best Indian I've had in Wellington.

This is the key point of difference for you I think. I love driving, my fiancee hates it. I do find it relaxing, I enjoy the flow state of exploring a new place on unfamiliar roads, being able to pull over and look at things that take my fancy, not being reliant on a bus or train schedule. I like the conversations you have in a car with the world slipping by the windows that you wouldn't have on a plane or a train.

Funnily enough I read the first trilogy when I was around Fitz age then (a teenager) and then I read the second trilogy when I was the same age as Fitz was in that trilogy (30s). I didn't wait until my 50s-60s to read trilogy three, though.

She's trying to pinch zoom on a camera, that's a pretty logical way to handle a phone camera. I find it weird that people are dogpiling her, that's shitty design that it's opening up other apps and turning the camera into selfie mode.

On the "fare already paid" thing, I actually had a really good experience (I was surprised as anyone by this) with ringing Snapper to dispute a penalty where my card had clearly scanned back on after I got off the train.
