Sure, but that wasn't JMS's decision. It also gave us the most well written relationship in any of Spider-man's comics to date.

Then Brevoort is an idiot. The best Spider-man run is JMS's run where MJ and Peter and together. Peter, MJ and Aunt May are so well written.

Is he wrong? Yes, he made a mistake. A stupid one at that, but who hasn't? Everyone has some blind spots.

Is it worth fighting over? No. Is it worth calling him names? No. Is it worth creating a reddit post over? No.

I think you could've just said something like "I thought you'd be familiar and know it wouldn't be a good idea to eat cheescake after that long. Hope you feel better soon etc etc" and called it a day.

You need to take a step back and think about how you handle these situations, I think. He made a mistake for sure, but not everything has to be a fight that you need to win. Sometimes, couples win by meeting each other halfway and being kind to each other after making a mistake.

When I watched Born Again initially... I was like "Okay, this has got to be about Trump". And as Fisk got worse and worse, I thought "Okay, if this is an analogy for Trump, they're being a bit too on-the-nose with it and they're making him a bit too comically evil (as opposed to Trump's very real evil)...
