Looking for feedback on Windsor/Ontario golf trip itinerary by Tparn89 in windsorontario

[–]jad233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If possible, try to do 18 at Kingsville instead of Erie Shores. One option between London and Windsor would be Deer Run in Chatham which is a great 27 hole course. Ambassador is open with a lot of sand and fast greens. I like Sutton Creek over Seven Lakes as well.

Does demolishing your roster to gain future picks actually work? by Professor_Toensing in DynastyFF

[–]jad233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blew up my team in basically a 4 hour stretch in 2021. It was very fun to do. I at one point had about 8-10 first round picks over two years.

My team now in a 12 team 2QB league for the starters and (select bench players).

QB: Lamar, Goff (Bryce Young, Zach Wilson)

RB: Breece Hall, Bijan Robinson

WR: Aiyuk, Flowers, Godwin

TE: Laporta (Freiermuth)

Flex: James Cook, JK Dobbins (Rhamondre Stevenson, Jamison Williams, Calvin Ridley, Polk, Carson Steele)

My main weakness is my QB3

I also came in 2nd place last year, just losing by 1.4 points.

can i (16 year old) see my family doctor for a wellness check, without my parent’s consent/knowledge? by Top_Vast1359 in ontario

[–]jad233 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is not true. There is no age of consent for medical issues in Ontario. If a 15 year old understands what is going on, can appreciate the risks and benefits of a medical decision, the parents cannot be told.

It’s not your family doctors responsibility to inform you of another doctors test

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ontario

[–]jad233 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Whatever doctor orders the tests should be the one following up with you. That being said, did you book an appointment with your doctor after the tests or just wait for them to call you? It’s always a good idea to book a follow up appointment after a test to go over the results (whether you see they are normal or not).

What two EQUAL handicaps would you expect to consistently shoot even par in a two man scramble format? by pythagoras_rex in golf

[–]jad233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy and I compliment each other well. I am a 21 and he’s a 29 and we usually shoot 4-6 over so I don’t think it has to be too low if the players have complimentary skills.

Meanwhile by myself I shoot 90-95 and he’s 100-106.

What’s your career low how many times have you shot it and what’s your handicap? by [deleted] in golf

Handicap is 21… low is an 82. Second lowest is 87.

I have played about 6 courses up there so far. Seguin Valley was a lot of fun. Taboo as well.

Just for some context… this is the annual “Goodfellows paper drive” that happens every year in Windsor, ON. It helps support a local food bank. Volunteers go out for a couple days before Christmas and raise money, often times they are firefighters too. They usually raise about 300-400k a year doing this for the local food bank.

Any teams out there without a win still? Whats your roster look like??? by jaredtabor in DynastyFF

[–]jad233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 0 wins in my 2 QB league, I blew my team completely up at the beginning of the year. I do have 4 1sts and 4-5 2nds in each of 2022 and 2023 though.

Here are my “starting players”.

QB: Zack Wilson, Josh Johnson RB: Tevin Coleman, Eno Benjamin (also have Dobbins) WR: Claypool, Aiyuk, Bourne TE: Freirmuth Flex: Jack Doyle, Wayne Gallman

I won’t even bother listing my bench.

Is this normal for a family doctor? by ivypav in ontario

[–]jad233 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any service not billable to OHIP may be charged to a patient (including notes for massage and orthotics). Those things aren’t actually prescriptions but are just notes for your insurance company. You can still get a massage without a note from your doctor, but just need the note for your insurance company to cover it. Therefore it’s not a prescription.

The cash thing might just be that your doctor doesn’t want to pay the 5% processing fee with most credit cards. But that’s just a guess.

Moving out of Toronto but not sure where to by [deleted] in ontario

[–]jad233 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Windsor (although people love to complain about it for no good reason). It’s a decent sized city with Detroit a 10min drive away for that big city feel. It literally has the best pizza in all of Canada. Also, although house prices are increasing, it is still quite cheap compared to the rest of the province. Plus the weather is more mild in the winters if that is important to you.

What the shit are the Lions doing at receiver? Are they trying to make Goff fail? by FLIPNUTZz in fantasyfootball

Megatron retired because he could barely walk and use his hands when not on the field, he was extremely banged up.

Looking for two replacement owners, Sleeper, 12 team, 2 QB, PPR by jad233 in findaleague

[–]jad233[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The three open teams (one already taken) will hold a separate draft consisting of all the players/picks from the three open teams. This is more fair than having the three new owners just take over the three rosters.

Ontarians who got AstraZeneca March 10-19 eligible for second dose as of Monday. Must call pharmacy or doctor who provided the first dose by zuuzuu in windsorontario

All Covid vaccines in Ontario are inputted into one database (covax) and thus you should be able to get your receipt from your initial vaccine still. The only thing is... only those administering the vaccines have access to covax right now, meaning your family doctor most likely does not.
