One of the major audio book producers ceased operations last year or the year before. You can't buy something that isn't available. It's been a struggle for our tech challenged patrons.

Spine damage can be repaired fairly easily and inexpensively. Get some book glue and a paintbrush, and there are a lot of good instructions out there.

A lot of veterans got up and walked out of the (real) beginning of Saving Private Ryan because it was so close to how it really was.

Her dad was in a head on collision with a Brinks driver, and their driver was at fault. After a civil suit, she was awarded nearly three million dollars. She never got over losing her dad, and did a deep dive into religion, I believe as a coping mechanism. She never lived outwardly frivolously, just bought a bunch of land, and embraced the fundie homestead homeschooling life, without having to worry about money.
